PFT: martin looking to end dispute, resolution could come soon

I would dig in. I don't want to reward Martin for this farce. He could have handled in a professional, responsible way. He chose not to. It would set an awful precedent for future players angling to get cut and have their money too.

I would throw this at him...drop the complaint and I will release you and give you every dollar remaining on the contract.
 
I figured this would happen after incognito said he has texts and voicemails too. Martin doesn't want those to get out. while I would love to take Martin down, I think it's the best interest of this organization for it to end soon and end quietly
 
If we just pay him and let him go, what is to stop future players unhappy with their circumstances from trying the same strategy?

I wouldn't do that, may piss off Cornwell. They have to end this ASAP because it's brought major shame and embarassment to the organization.
 
Agreed, there is still a half of a season to be played and we don't want a New GM coming into a **** storm of stuff to deal with.

This is true, but I just can't stand how Martin would be able to get away with dragging this organization through the mud because he was too weak to deal with the issues in a professional manner. It just rubs me the wrong way.
