Why? They picking us b/c of our coaching staffs now?

Looking back at 2005 Predictions from various networks, the census always picks the teams who are the cream of the crop.

All you saw were:

Colts over Panthers
Colts over Vikings
Colts over Rams

Patriots over The Whole NFL

Eagles, Eagles, Eagles!

Honestly, no one will pick us to win the AFC next year. PFT is just messing around. Idiots
 
i really have a hard time believing that any network will even make us favorites to win the AFC East, so actually thats a stunner to me :eek:
 
These predictions are so pointless. There is so much that can happen during a season, and almost always does. I can't even remember the last time someone correctly predicted what two teams would meet in the superbowl.

I think a lot of people had picked New England and the Eagles for the Super Bowl the year before.

Are you kidding me? They practically had JP Losman riding a white horse into the new Ford Field prior to the start of the season. Why? "Strong finish" were the code words. ;)
 
I don't put us into the SB just yet, but I don't think the AFC East title is out of reach. Pending FA, draft, and injury bug - I think we are poised to be right in the thick of it.

Lots of people had the Eagles, Pats superbowl, but the last one I actually remember perfectly was Jim Nantz picked Tampa Bay to beat Oakland in the Super Bowl and it did actually happen. I was amazed.
 
I'll sell my car to get tickets to see the Fins in the SB in Miami in 2007. :) Nothing wrong with dreaming about it. I think the Pats could be heading for a downfall......but let's just focus on winning the AFC East before we start talking SB.
 
This doesn't really mean anything, but it's cool to see someone predicted us to go to the SB next season.
