Just kidding, before everyone goes nuts please realize it is a meaningless preseason poll. This will not win or lose a game for you, it is just the opinions of a few guys at PFT.
 
Josh Alper is absolutely the biggest troll, along with his boy Florio. What a joke PFT is.
 
Love how it says we could be in the hunt for a playoff spot, but then they project us to be the second worst team in the league.
 
Some of the comments below the article say it all. Especailly from non-Dolphin fans.

I know the national media doesn't like us, but I'm still surprised. Anything less than 7-9 would shock me, and I really think we are looking at a 8-8 to 10-6 type season.

Eh.... what do people expect?

- 5 new starters on O-line. 4 of which are basically either rookies, 'new' starters, or barely starter quality.

- Unproven QB with unproven WR's and unproven TE's and unproven RB's

- New OC

- Mediocre LB's that just shuffled positions

- New S, DT

- Missing Pouncey for the first 4-6 weeks.

- Missing Jordan for the first 4 weeks.

We have a lot of question marks, what if's, maybe's, possibly's, etc, etc.....

Is 31 too low? Sure, but lets not all be homers and say we should be considered in the top half of the league.

Team has tons of POTENTIAL, but nothing has shown yet.
 
It is a bit absurd to have the Dolphins that low in power rankings before the season based on last year's performance and offseason moves. They should be ranked in the middle of the pack.

That being said, having the second worst record isn't out of the realm of possibility.

I laughed my ass off. I'm not a total homer but Key said it best c'mon man 31? Really? I could swallow 24 plus or minus a couple but 31?
 
This is not for the season as a whole, but based on where we are today...with no Pouncey, no Jordan, and no Moreno. The first couple of weeks could be brutal.

I think it is where they are projecting you for the season.
