PFT: Report: Authorities are looking at Mike Pouncey as more than a witness

You generally don't get subpoena'd for good reasons. At the very least it is because Pouncey is viewed as a uncooperative witness. If the State Attorney felt Pouncey would cooperate he would have worked through Pounceys attorney to have him appear. At the very worst Pouncey did something stupid with Hernandez got his ass subpoena'd and they are looking for a indictment on him.

Goes back to a couple sayings my late father preached to me. " you lay down with dogs you get fleas" and " you are judged by the company you keep"
 
Seems about right...season beginning it's slow decent down the toilet and our top lineman could potentially be in a lot of trouble.
 
Great. Real smart of him to wear that 'Free Hernandez' hat in public too, good move.
 
Honestly Im not at all moved by this news. As in the other thread that was started, Im numb to it.

The news of this after the game was just like an extra kick in the groin...well on the bright side of things they say bad calls tend to even out over the course of the year...so how many calls you think we are owed at this point? (not that it excuses the poor quality of coaching and players the last few weeks).

Why does it have to be our best O lineman instead of one of the others.
 
The subpeona itself doesn't mean Pouncey is guilty and the fact that it came from the state and not federal seems to cloud the report about interstate gun trafficking. In the worst case scenario that Pouncey is involved and gets charged with a federal crime, the Dolphins should do what the Patriots did and just release him and wash their hands. Though I am not ready to convict Pouncey just yet because we don't know the full story and what the state wants with him.
 
Just all around sad...

For a guy who seemed so bright, well adjusted and a positive influence in the community to get caught up in that loser's crap, it's just sad. Let's hope it's nothing that will end up with Pouncey in prison.

I wonder how many other NFL players that creep will bring down with him. It's a shame Brady wasn't involved!!
