PFT: "Told" Frerotte Will Be Opening Day Starter

I knew that this was going to cause all the Feeley huggers to go crazy, thats why I didnt post it.....

I have a feeling that this thread will get the highest negative response of all time
 
It's simple..........Saban has said it's an open competition.

He will decide after Feeley/Frerotte battle it out in TC & preseason.


The better player will win......PFT knows nothing at this point.
 
Here we go with the people canceling their NFL sunday ticket because the QB they want wasn't the starter. (If this is true of course).

Nevertheless, this is PFT. This is far from a good source to rely on.

I have been accused of being a Feeley hugger, this article did not make me go crazy. It pretty much said what most people already know.

Everyone knows that if Feeley out plays Freotte in preseason games he will be starting. Well most likely will be starting.
 
i love pft!!! they are such bullsh!tters......i don't even think saban has made up his mind

Did anyone see this???

But the receiving corps of Chris Chambers, Marty Booker, and David Boston could be one of the best in the league, if Boston is healthy (he says he is) and able to stretch the field. Coupled with a glut of running backs and an improving offensive line coached up by Hudson Houck, we won't be surprised to see the Fins end up at 8-8 or better in the Nicktator's first tour of duty.

Not really. I want Feeley to get us where we want to go but its too close to call at the mo and i just want someone to get us wins!! nuff said.
 
I think this is just all premature until preseason, I dont care who has been told what. Saban will give it to the guy that gives us the best chance to win period. Who will step up and make plays is yet to be seen.
 
What is more interesting, if true, there is a leak in the Saban administration... And Saban will stop at nothing to stomp it out..

For this reason, I dont have much credence in this news.. Would someone really risk their job to feed PFT scoops?

I saw it to but didn't really see the point in posting rubish for people to argue over. Their "inside" info means squat.

I believe Saban will pick the one he thinks will play the best come game time. If I had to bet money, I'd bet that Saban hasn't made up his mind yet either.
