Don't know if anyone's mentioned this, but the Pro Football Weekly 2005 NFL preview just came out. Those imaginative risk-takers have the...wait for it...Patriots winning the AFC East with the Fins finishing 4-12. About the only risk they took with their predictions was having the Colts make the SB against the Eagles. With the Eagles winning.

Little early for predictions, but i'll say this we WILL win more then 4 games this year :)

4-12?? NO WAY!!! I'll wait for Street & Smith or ESPN's predictions.

I usually get Street & Smith's also, but a lot of the time they don't even know basic facts. That one comes out May 31th, and the best one, Lindy's comes out I believe June 13th.

I haven't read Lindys in a while....I usually go to Barnes and Noble and grab each of them and spend a few hours reading what they have to say and then I start picking my early fantasy players. Damn, I can't wait for September to get here....Sundays suck without my Phins playing.

7-9 sounds about right!... no way on the repeat of last year

Hard to believe we will only win 4 games again, not with Saban, the staff he put together, the drafted players, and the newly found excitement in Dolphin land

With a decent coach they could have won 6-7 games LAST season. They will win 9-11 games this season

I wouldn't call Lindy's the best. I consider Lindy's and Street and Smith to be rushed and soft on facts. PFW HAS been the best, but they have been coming out earlier and earlier every season, it seems like, and now they're out in the third week in May for God's sake. Why not just put the damned thing out right after the Superbowl?? :shakeno:
IMHO, Sporting News is the best since PFW has gone downhill.

Remember last year when Pat Kirwan of CNNSI predicted the Dolphins would win the 2004 super bowl? Does anyone remember what exactly he pointed out as his reasons. If I understand correctly, if Ricky returns, then really, we're a simular team to what we were last year, only better coaching. We'll have Feeley, Ricky, Boston, and the usual suspects on Defense Minus Surtain. But Offensively, we'd have almost the same setup plus Ronnie Brown, a better offensive scheme, and better coaching..So really, what's changed from this years offense to what we thought we had last year before ricky cut out, besides the coaching? Just Curious...

It's difficult to make predictions, especially about the future:wink: , but I think 4-12 is a little low. I also find it amusing that Indy is once again being picked to go to the SB. :roflmao: IMO Indy and Peyton are extremely overrated. When will football writers stop hyping Peyton, and actually focus on the fact that he can't win big games. He has a terrible record against quality teams, and always folds in big games. As for the Eagles going back to the SB, I think it will be a lot harder given TO's latest shenanigans.

I don`t think we`ll go 4-12, but can you blame PFW for predicting that record? Toughest schedule in the league, a new coaching staff, porous Oline, subpar Qbs, and the ever present Ricky factor looming over our heads once again. Lots of things need to pan out this year in order for us to get back to respectability.

Do you have a link so I can look at it?
