Ben Volin doesn't think a signing is imminent. However, Omar Kelly and Jason La Canfora thinks he signs this week.

Why are so many people in love with the rookie WRs? Philbin's offense relies on sure handed, crisp route runners. BJ Cunningham is dropping everything, and it's apparently been Hartline, Bess and Naanee >>>>>>>> Everyone else

CRISP ROUTE RUNNERS?!?! Ocho is anything BUT a crisp route runner...he has NEVER been known for his route running and its the same reason he is out of new england!! He couldn't remember the plays or the routes minutes after being told what they were...the argument is invalid....if it was meant for courting Ocho.

Yup, we found a couple of WR that can equal the amount of drops Marshall had last year, problem is they will not see the ball as much as Marshall did if they continue to drop passes....unlike Marshall.

You're making the same mistake that a majority of ill-informed Dolphins (and Patriots) fans are making. Chad Johnson is out of New England because he failed to grasp the offense. He was unable to grasp the PLAYBOOK (ie where to line up, option routes, etc) not his route running itself.
The fact that you say Chad Johnson was never known for his route running EVER is hilarious, because he was notoriously known as one of the most precise route runners in the NFL for a while, relying more on his shiftiness and route running than flat out speed. I'm wondering if you've ever coached or played at a level that required knowledge beyond "fly" "out" "curl", not to be an ******* but because it's just a well known difference between what Chad struggled with in NE and what he excelled at in Cinci.
Won't matter if they can catch more then 50% of their TD attempts. In 2008, we had no Marshall, and we did alright. Hartine and Bess are quality receivers, even if some people here refuse to admit it, and the rest are all young, and with the right coaching there may be someone there also that will become a quality receiver.
We also will be better passing to our TE/FB, Fasano will still be very reliable, and Clay was looking really good at the end of the season, and finally do not forget that we have the luxury of one of the best receiving RB in the NFL, so if defenses decide to concentrate on our WRs, Miami will beat them in other ways.
