Philbin's Best on Hard Knocks- BRILLIANT!!!

I've got new for you...talking about it is not the same as seeing it. I heard about it on news stations and read about it in papers just like everyone else but until I actually saw it I wasn't sure how it was being done.

Agreed. Before, I thought it was just both sides of the field being used at the same time, no big deal. When I saw all the coaches lined up, just turning around for the the next team's play, and the speed of how it was done, it was a different deal.

Only a matter of time before other teams copy.

Except the jets. I just cant imagine Sparano being capable of running practice like that with his ground, pound and field goal, fist pump style. Besides, Sparano's got his QB timer, which I'm sure he doesn't need to use with Tebow.

The QB timer (and Brandon Marshall) helped to screw up the Robot. Intentions were good with the timer but it helped to smash his confidence. Confidence is paramount to a QB.

If this is true, then coaches are stupid. In the free market, these ideas would have all been implemented 30 years ago.

I think the whole 2 teams on the field training method is pretty smart but I don't think it will be used/stolen by other teams next year as Coach Philbin is using this structure to combat the Heat (something not many other franchises have to worry about as much). I really like Philbin and how well he is managing his staff and structuring his sessions, he is very methodical and precise. However, I do feel (from what I have seen on hard knocks) that he is still adapting to the head coaching role in terms of leadership and relationships between him and his players. He seems to struggle with putting himself out there as the Head Coach but im sure he will develop as the year/s go on. Overall, extremely happy to have him instead Sparano.

I love everything I'm hearing about Philibin. He seems like the innovative coach that this team needs and hopefully success will come quickly for him.
