If Gruden can do it, why can't we do the Philbin's Grinder each week. Obviously Philbin doesn't have the hair or blood pressure of Gruden, but that doesn't mean we don't have badass players. Vote and comment, have some good candidates this week.

From now on Ill post these after the game so we can have a Grinder by MNF.

Edit: Ill like to see what you photoshop guys can do for a Philbin's Grinder pic.

Michael Thomas is a folk hero now, but you have to give it to Cam Wake. Got our only sack and brought consistent pressure.

We had 7 hits on Brady yesterday and Wake had 5 of them. If Wake didnt play that score is very different.

Tough this week. Wake was up Brady's arse more than a Dom named Paul. Wallace fought for that TD at the end of the half to keep us in the game. Matthews kept a drive alive. Thomas...well ya.

I'll have to disagree with most of the voters. Yes, Tannehill had a great game but any person playing any position, not only suits up but makes the two game saving plays with only 3 days and change practice and playbook prep time.... that's crazy.

I went with T-hill but Wake was a close 2nd with M. Thomas as an even closer 3rd.

Yup, Tannehill played complete. No picks, and he made some dam good throws when we needed them.

Wake was amazing too. If I could pick 1a and 1b, that's what I'd do.

I can't vote...it's that hard for me to decide. Michael Thomas made two great plays at the end, Clay (who's not even up there) saved the game with a 6 yard catch, Tannehill played mistake free and amazing...he was seriously throwing darts...just a complete "wow" game from him. Wallace was huge, made some great plays even showed some body control which he hadn't done all year. Wake was an animal, got pressures, hits and a sack and affected several throws. Rishard Matthews came up big too, great effort, big time catches. I actually saw a 49ers fan site that suggested they use one of their 11 draft picks in next years draft to try and trade for Matthews.

Anyway, too hard to decide for me.

I went with Thomas based on the circumstance he was put in....

I expect Tannehill and Wake to make plays to help this team win, but what Thomas did on those final few plays was inspired....

Tannehill it is.

At first I was torn between him and Thomas, but after watching some of those sick throws he made again I'm a believer that he should be Philbin's Grinder this week.

Why cant Philbin have his own thing? Why does he have to copy things off Gruden? Gruden blows anyway. Who is Philbin?...... Jay Z?

This is like when other posters started generic Get Real threads and called them something else like "hoops scoops" or "Hayden Fox's week x recap"
