Philbin's main objective this Offseason.

Joe needs to sit down and read the autobiographies of Tom Landry, John Madden, Bill Walsh, and Vince Lombardi. Philbin needs to try and find the philosophical theory of winning. He can meet with Don Shula twice a week to discuss this bullet point. This is a very vital point in his career. If he doesn't make the playoffs. He's done. Me personally as a Dolphan I just don't want to make the playoffs, we need to be a deadly threat in the playoffs consistently. I truley believe there is a championship DNA in coaches. Just look at Pete Caroll and Bill Belicheat *Belichick.

Sorry the iPhone likes to toy with one's vocabulary.

Insert the "purchased shoe laces that stayed tied" for whole team and staff here...

Philbins main objective should be finding out how he can inspire all the men who play for him. He has not found his footing as a head coach and has proven in three years to be nothing special with his approach. If it wasn't for Bill Lazor, Philbin would be an Assitant offensive line coach with the Jets right now.

Well I was starting to believe Bellycheat was at least a decent coach keeping his teams competitive after Spygate was snuffed out, although I was not surprised to see him cheating again. Explains a lot. So I think we can take him out of the conversation until he actually accomplishes something without cheating.
As for the DNA in the others, I think you hit the nail on the head. Philbin just doesn't have it and you don't fully change your personality. If so, he will not come off as genuine, which is even worse than continuing to be wishy washy. I wanted to see him assert himself this year but he just looks so uneasy around players.

Youre crazy if you don't believe he's one of the best coaches of all time because of a media pushed "cheating scandal". Guess the media does get to a lot of people and play them like puppets.

No I'm not a Pats fan , I'm a die hard Dolphins fan. Doesn't mean I have to hate one of the greatest coaches of all time and listen to every story the media pushes. Same thing happened to us last year with Martin they pushed the story into people's head like we were running a prison down here with the objective of bullying players . Nothing like good marketing and knowing how to get ratings eh ? The media will turn any story and bit of information into WHATEVER they want .

They would have very well turned this story into how Bill took the air out of the balls and pumped them into a babies lungs to save him .... People believe whatever the **** the media wants them to. If 10 people say it's their opinion and theyre labeled "experts" along come the followers , tweets and biased opinions.

This offseason has been pleasant so far only because haven't heard much about queasy Joe, and somehow I have dreamed of the fantasy state that he no longer will be the Dolphins coach........ But no we will have to suffer another humiliating year with a 6 and 10 record to prove to a.....hole Ross that he is not the man for the job.......

Would have fired him brought in Quinn with the understanding that lazor would have stayed on and fired a...hole Coyle and ascended lacy Rodgers to dc under Quinns tutor ledge....tannenbaum should have pushed for that.......
