Nice article. Love the second year comparisons with some of the best and seeing Phillips leading some of those categories. Obviously, it's not just the sack number that's important, but pressures, hits and ability in the run game. Phillips is on a nice course.

He reminds me of Kerrigan. Took a few seasons of barely not getting there before the sacks started piling up. I see a trajectory like that.

It seems like he's the DE tasked with doing things other than pass-rush more than any other cuz he's young and fast. Sack numbers wont look great but he can really disruptive to other plays on the edge of the defense. Zone coverage on TEs and backs in the flat, etc.

That's why I posted the article. It was impressive to see his growth and to see how he compared to others. I think Phillips has a real chance to accumulate sacks over the next 7 games.
