Enjoy the bloodbath and madness that is FinHeaven after a loss. Particular bad one today. I haven’t wallowed in the self pity in a long time but this just feels like the right time to face the hyperbolic criticism. Because maybe it’s not so hyperbolic this time. Enjoy your stay and hope it’s not a pleasant one next time we see y’all this year
 
Phillips has done nothing so far but if he and Rousseau swapped teams last night I’m pretty sure Rousseau would have come out with an empty stat line and Phillips would have had at least one or two untouched sacks or QB hits.

Ultimately time will tell on your question but it looks ugly right now. Feels like we’re crying out for vet leadership on both sides of the ball.
 
I wonder how many people actually watch the games and how many people read a stat line at the end and make judgment. Phillips has been double teamed a lot the past two weeks. If teams recognize him as a threat and game plan to neutralize him, there isn’t much he can do given his level of NFL experience.

In 2021 if a rookie isn’t good immediately, he’s a bust. Get with the program, during draft season every rookie is the next big thing and after a few preseason snaps they suck with no chance of development and that is again a position of need.
 
Phillips hasnt made or shown 1 play since he put on a Dolphins helmet. Its still early in his career but it would be nice to see something positive. Especially since every single high draft pick made has underperformed. It always seems to be something with the players on this team. We have all the excuses why guys arent performing. Its always SOMETHING. At the end of the day this team has sucked for 20 years and the one constant has been Chris Greir. I’m not saying he is solely at fault but this team sucks If it wasn’t for Xavien Howard we wouldn’t be in any of these games and we wouldn’t have 110 games last year which is making people think this team is better than it is

I said this during week 1 game thread and someone tried to explain how he's not like Harris and didn't understand I was just talking about the overall outcome similarity
 
IDK. I gave Grier a pass because he gambled on greatness at a premium position. I will say I’ve never seen a player get held as much as Phillips in 2 games since Cameron Wake. Jury is still out. I understand the pick but I wanted Najee and was Leary of Rousseau and Owhey. So whatever.
