Phins 2007 = Saints 2006???

Nice optimistic article...BUT...This statement? "and Miami already possesses a defense that is equal to or better than New Orleans" New Orleans defense wasnt even top ten...I like the optimism, but why can't ONE writer actually know what he is talking about. Im getting sick of the level of jounalism these guys have displayed this year. Its not even worth reading anything anymore because 90% of them are totally wrong

How about 2007 Dolphins = 2007 Dolphins? Let's wait and see instead of compare, and let's make our entity our own.

Don't mind the comparision. Just somebody's opinion. Now, if they are talking about the PHINS 14 weeks into the season as being "this years Saints" then we will have much to talk about.

Even if we were equally as talented as they were last year we wouldn't be the same becuase our level of competition in the AFC is much higher.

Hugo Guzman of RF365.com writes that "there are reasons to believe that Miami could pull off a Saints-like turnaround."

Hugo, I am a very optimistic fan but I think you're spending too much time with Lindsay Lohan.

Another similarity is that they converted solid 1st round previously a RT Jamaal Brown to LT and we're converting solid 1st round previously a RT Vernon Carey to LT.

But I don't consider Ginn to be like Colston. Colston's a 6'4 guy who can really make catches and reach for passes (especially in the red/end-zone) while Ginn's a speed guy. We possess a better defense but we have a harder division and conference. Plus, our QB is older.

The difference between the two teams is the Saints have a pro bowl quarterback, an offensive line 10 times as good as Miami's, and a two headed monster at runningback.
