To all of the people who are reaslistic know that before the season ever began we were no better than a 8 - 8 team this year. Brown is a rookie which is what most of u seem to forget, Ferotte is a brand new QB for us, this is Saban's SECOND NFL game, and don't forget we have one of the worst O-Lines. People need to chill and wait till atleast week 7 before trashing on the team.
Oh and heres a stat most have forgotten:
Dolphins are 1-9 vs the Jets in the last 5 years
I agree with you but also consider:
"before the season ever began we were no better than a 8 - 8 team this year."
8-8 will be tough if we cant beat a struggling Jets team when you consider our schedule. Panthers and Chiefs next.
"Brown is a rookie which is what most of u seem to forget"
Brown is a rookie, but it seems the problem is that people look over at Cadillac and see nearly three hundred yards in two games, realize he was picked after we picked Ronnie, and BAM, frustration.
"Ferotte is a brand new QB for us"
Frerotte is indeed a brand new QB for us but in a system he's played in for years and is a very short-term solution at 34yrs old. Plus, we now lose a year of development time for our future unknown QB.
"this is Saban's SECOND NFL game"
This is Sabans second NFL game as a head coach, but has been a DC in the NFL before.
"and don't forget we have one of the worst O-Lines"
And finally, we all know we have a bad O-line, but then why do we still have the same one from last year? And how effective will Houck truly be?
But like I said, for the most part I agree with you, but everything certainly has a counterpoint. Its way to early to judge, sure. But its never too early to at least be concerned.
