I use the PH factor a lot when posting on our team. I use Phins over Fins, Phans over fans, and Phinatics over fanatics. A poster asked me why, saying that we ain't the Philadelphia Phillies baseball team.

I know both Phins and fins are both used often but, have seen nothing different on Phans and Phinatics.

For a little "PHun," which one do you use, and is one better than the other?

I'm consistent in applying the "F" factor, whether it's to "Phins" or "ph*ck" :idk:

So, your opinion is the same of that of Country Joe & The Fish at Woodstock who said "GIMME AN F." lol

PHins Is a shortened version of DolPHins. Fins are a part of a real dolPHin. Which is more descriptive? :)

I'm curious if PHinsheaven was ever considered when this forum began.

The offseason needs to end...

True story, and I need a vacation. lol

I'm surprised there are as many here still talkin DolPHins. I'm a die hard as well, and trying to come up with a few threads to extend discussion before giving up for a while. :)

I like both.. I use both.

I used Fins in my screen name and my email...
steve + fins = stefins
I guess that is better than stephins

Can we put his to a vote? I don't know how to do that.

Both seem appropriate to me, one is a diminutive form of the actual name Dolphins ('phins or Phins) and the other denotes the actual appendages that the animal has (dorsal fin, ventral fins, tail fins). I tend to say Fins, but both equally invoke Dolphins pride in my mind.

I use Phins as the team is the Dolphins not Dolfins....I am also a huge Phillies fan.

I'm originally from Pa, and was a Phils, Eagles, and 6'er fan as a little kid. I recall many of the players, as I had cards of them all. How long were yo a Phils fan? Jim Bunnings perfect game in a double header? Carleton, Schmidt, Rose, and Morgan?

I converted, and it is PH over F. JMO
