Whats with Sparano not naming Henne the QB? Last year he named Pennington the QB at this time for the 09 season. Could it just be one of two things?

1. They want to make sure Henne works extra hard in the offseason. He's not a vet like Penny, so they don't want him to slack off, even though he's not the type to do that. Make him feel like he'll have to work to return to his spot and get him fired up. This is the case I believe. It's Henne's team, they just want him to work for it again. 95% sure he's starting come September 2010.

2.Pennington returns as starter. I don't think this is happening, if he's back he'll be backup.

Sparano is playng poker. Pennington is a free agent, if Sparano tips his hand stating Henne will be the starter in 2010, then we probably won't have a shot at re-signing Pennington. Pennington believes he can still be a starter, you take that away from him, he will go looking elsewhere to play.
