So basic question, who do you guys think would be the most helpful for Tannehill/offense. Lets pretend all 3 choices are 24 and in their prime and Ricky Williams is committed 100% to football. If you pick Webb that means Tunsil gets kicked to guard. Lets also pretend Tannehill is here for at least the next 5 years.

I pick Ricky Williams for 1 I love Ricky Williams and a prime Ricky would take a lot of pressure off Tannehill. Tannehill would also be even more effective running the play action with a formidable HB to fake it to.

We also have Drake so that would be a nice 1-2 punch and we wouldn't have to wear Ricky down. It would also take some pressure off the defense as we should be able to sustain more drives. I think with Ricky and Tannehill and the further building of our team we should make it to the playoffs more routinely than in the past.

It's the offseason and this place is slow and feels somewhat negative right now. If you don't want to participate because you have negative feelings towards Tannehill and don't think he'll be for 5 more years or can't pretend because you have no imagination than the easy thing to is not respond.

Any of the three would be great, but I'd love to have a premiere threat at TE. It opens so many things up for an offense...

He needs to promise to not lateral at unnecessary points in the game though...

I also miss having a Reggie Bush receiving threat out of the backfield. Someone who could catch 50 passes per season and could burn a defense for nice gains on wheel routes, arrow routes and screens on a regular basis.

It seems likes every season Miami is toward the bottom of the league in % of targets to rbs/tight ends. Solidify those two areas in the passing game and watch the outside receivers face looser coverage.

Jackson and is not even close. I loved RW but Drake is doing pretty good himself but we don't have a real TE like Jackson. That's an option that Tannehill's never had before

Ozzy rules!!

While I 100% love me some Keith Jackson but I remain true to my inside out philosophy. Get a elite LT, kick Tunsil to LG and one more serviceable year from Pouncey would help solidify something Tannehill has struggled with since he arrived....A clean pocket. Whatever gets us there, I'm for.

Ricky Williams is very under rated a pass catching threat. His first 2 years in Miami he had better receiving #s than Bush did his 2 years here.

A 100% Ricky Williams led the NFL in rushing and caught a lot of passes too. His vision was exceptional.

A TE would be the greatest upgrade from what we have but I wouldn't pick one at #11. We don't really need much offense but Thill, himself back. I think depth and role players on both sides of the ball would make the most difference. A FS to take snaps when McDonald moves to big nickel or WLB, LBer depth, DE depth, a base TE, a Flex TE, a big back, OL depth. We'd be best served trading down. Another WR to develop if Landry leaves. If we managed to wheel and deal our way to a bunch of 2nd & 3rd round picks it'd be awesome.

Very Myopic comparing Drake to Ricky Williams. Defenses put their ENTIRE game plan against Ricky and still couldn't stop him. Do this against Drake and he's likely a non factor, and i really like Drake, However let's be realistic. I remember when Ricky straight up took Ray Lewis out of the game.

Jackson was a great TE, but he didn't accomplish at TE what Ricky did at RB. It's Ricky by a long shot.

4 2nds, 4 3rds, 2 4ths. 10 contributors. No first and no late picks. 1 FS, 1 Flex TE, 1 LE, 1 WR, 1 Base TE, 1 LB, 1 OT, 1 RB, 1 OG IDK what else for the 10th pick. A CB? It'd be good to replace McTyer as McCain's future replacement.

I'm not sure if your in the right thread or misunderstood, this isn't about the draft. Its just hypothetically would you rather have 100% football focus ricky Williams, keith Jackson, or richmond Webb on this team to help tannehill/offense.

This is fun. It's not just about the relative worth of those players in a vacuum, but also about the players they'd replace on the current roster. I'd go:
1) Webb
2) Jackson
3) Ricky

Ricky is a favorite of mine, and Jackson would be a huge upgrade, but Webb is an all-timer. Considering what we've rolled out there on the OL in the last several years, I'm not sure the answer can be anything else but Webb.

Ricky Williams was one of the most talented backs I have ever seen.
