Ronnie and Ricky in a two back set. Will Saban try it?. What a threat!!, either one can run it, but you can run play action and throw it to Ronnie. I think that setup would make opposing defenses cringe. What do you guys think??

or they could go in shotgun and send ronnie in motion to the slot and either throw it or do a draw to ricky, theres so many opportunities:)

Our quaterback just needs to be effecient and not make mistakes and we will do well. Try to defend Boston, Chamber, Mcmike, Ronnie, Rickie, Booker. Not to mention Welker, Diamond Evans who all look good.

seriously, our recievers are stacked, i dont think our qbs could mess up that bad this year, even if they tried

Give ME 5 seconds in the pocket with our lineup & I could look like DM! :lifter:

we've been picturing it since tagliabue said, with the number 2 the miami dolphins select ronnie brown...

You could have pictured Ronnie, but not everybody was certain that Ricky would be in the mix.

All we need is for the starting qb not to turn it over. Our defense is solid, assuming Saban whoops the secondary into shape. Why again can we not go 10-6?

Oh yeah!!!

Ronnie Brown
Ricky Williams
Chris Chambers
Randy McMichael
David Boston
Marty Booker
Vernon Carey
Stockar McDougal

hmmmm......

Starting to look like a powerhouse offense starting. We just need an upgrade at QB(like Vince Young next year)and some chemistry.Saban got the game plan. I'm pumped.

Linehan(Off. Coordinator) likes to use the Shotgun-Two Back Set(or HB/TE).....picture this on the field:

Booker Boston Chambers

Ricky Ronnie

Hell yea, you gotta look at what Scotty did with the Vikes. When Onterrio Smith wasn't suspended, he caught tons of balls. Ronnie is 10x better reciever and runner than Onterrio Smith. There are gonna be a TON of mismatches for opposing defenses this year. My hope is that we can beat blitzes long enough to take advantage of them.

just envision Ricky and Ronnie both coming out of the backfield on opposite sides of the field, Randy going down the middle. Find a team that has 3 LBs that can cover those 3 1:1. or a team brave enough to put a DB on either Ricky or Ronnie. they'll use them as road pavement.

We have a lot of dangerous weapons. You don't need to have a great QB to make this offense work, just one that is efficient and makes few mistakes. Not to state the obvious, but it all hinges on the O-line again this year. They need to create some running lanes and to give the QB some decent protection. Let's see if Houck can get it done.
