Sadly this morning's session was cut a bit short, but here are a few snaps and thoughts from what I took away from today:

So get ready guys, you hear me? Check, check, one-two, get ready!:

First, we gotta stretch it aaaaaall out, we've been working hard, haven't we?

Looking good tight ends, looking good, and nice to see you Mr. Wilford:

Gotta loosen up that arm there Henne. However, he does make the whole "throwing it on a rope" thing look pretty easy:

Bess is doing what he always does, look good:

And Armstrong is making his case to make at least the first cut:

And Turner reminds us that you can't teach two things, speed, and SIZE:

Maybe Murphy is a bit worried about that whole "his spot to lose" thing, huh?:

And maybe Ethan Kilmer is a little shy about having an orange condom on his head:

Here is one of those situational kind of drills, the situation being that the other team forgot to field it's defense:

But really, it won't ever be that easy, guess we should practice with some resistance, right?

Maybe even a little tougher?:

*Tweak tweak* Got your nipples!

....as coach watched from a distance, bemused....

But who are we kidding? We know what we want to see, 11 on 11:

But wait... who do those 3 guys think they are?:

Yeah, these three guys, these "special teamers":

Oh no, don't break a sweat!:

Oh okay fiiiine, I guess I can't be too hard on them. But I think everyone deserves a breather:

And maybe a rain delay too:

Overall, it was a pretty relaxed practice today. There was not much contact, and when there was, it was mostly 1 on 1 stuff. I would say there may have been 3 snaps of actual 11 on 11, or 7 on 7 play. Although, it was pretty clear early on in practice that they were going to have to move into the bubble soon based on the weather, so maybe they were taking it easy outdoors in front of the fans?

There was a pretty good turnout, I would say about 800-1,200 people were there before everyone was asked to leave. We did get a good show on Henne's zip, and Pennington's accuracy. White is working at it. There was not much in the way of rushing, and the D was on the other half of the field most of the time working with the sled. As for the TEs and WR, there was not much in the way of drops, nor any spectacular catches, just good, solid, workman kind of stuff.

I will be heading out to the scrimmage on Saturday, so look for more pictures then.

Enjoy!

I know that practice was cut short, but how did Pat White look? Anything worth mentioning?

Nothing that really stuck out. There was not much in the way of contact drills, so basically all of his passes were against air, and not much leather hit grass. So nothing bad stuck out, but it is hard for it to look positive when you are just lobbing it to open receivers.

I will say though that he is getting significantly less throws/snaps than Pennington and Henne just because White comes at the end of rotations on drills, and the buzzer sounds, ending that drill, either right before, or right after he starts the drill.
