Breaking: Mike McDaniel suspended 5 games for lying during a PC, NFL pondering new rule for Miami Dolphins Coaches to go through a lie detector test after every interaction with the media.
 
I saw this on Reddit yesterday and wondered why McDaniel was commenting about it. Somehow this era has been suckered into a belief that every detail matters and requires analysis, conversation and conclusion. Meanwhile the vast majority of them don't mean a damn thing and should be totally ignored. Day to day generally means nothing.

I mention this only because it didn't seem likely the players were voluntarily giving up on ping pong. That activity is immensely popular in training facilities everywhere. I watch lots of obscure European track and field videos posted by various athletes while they are doing weight training, etc. In the background there will invariably be a ping pong table and Foosball table.

And yes, warped tables are a pain in the ass, although I've been known to aim for that area. It typically happens on the inside quadrants, the server's box to apply a tennis term. Ping pong tables collapse from the inside, to such degree that if you stand at the side of the table and view from a distance you can detect the slight bowed shape that steadily gets worse.

Meaningless topic but I'm still going to handicap it.

In other news, scandal brewing in Miami as Ross tells media he switched the mess hall hotdogs from Sabret to Costco brand due to players preferring the latter. At the same time, Robert Hunt told the media the team prefers Sabrets and that the switch was obviously made by a greedy owner looking to juice his profits

Robert Hunt has been forced to change his name to Robert Heinz as well
