Pioli next to leave - joining Chiefs

New England Patriots vice president of player personnel Scott Pioli has agreed to become head of football operations for the Kansas City Chiefs, two NFL sources told ESPN's Michael Smith.

Pioli was seen packing up his office Tuesday afternoon, a Patriots source said.

This is great news. I heard the guy who New England has lined up for Pioli's replacement is under consideration for the Cleveland job as well. There is also a line of thinking that Bellicheck will assume the Off. coordinators duties while someone learns on the fly underneath him. The Death Star is imploding!!!!!!!

Its good to see guys like him leaving the Patriots. They just keep losing guys hopefully it catches up to them now. Well it has since they haven't won a SB since Weis and Crennel. But still they have been a great team every season. I think that until Belichick retires they will be good every year.
