These questions are funny.
These questions are funny.
I think we are an 8-8 or 9-7 team. I smell a rally coming. I have faith, 0-16 or 16-0, I will always be a Miami Dolphin fan.Q: Sparano needs to be fired! Our safeties don't even belong in the NFL, yet we dumped millions on them. Our return - punt and kick - is nonexistent. Is there any hope or are we looking at another top 3 pick in the draft? Will Sparano be replaced? DJFinfan, Wildwood, Mo.
A: You're kidding, right? At least I hope you are. The Dolphins have plenty of problems right now, but the head coach is not one of them. And as bad as things look right now, I wouldn't be surprised at all to see this team rally to an 8-8 or 9-7 finish. They'll have to "tighten up" in lots of areas, to use a Sparano-ism, but it can be done.
We are not an 8-8 9-7 team........we have zero fundamentals down...and thats why we continue to struggle.

We have zero fundamentals down and it's not the HC's fault? What is then?
Seriously...What the **** is the HC's fault if not the overall team tone?
Comon...TS got all the love last year.....No fault his way now? Really?
I Still Smell A Rally, With Henne We Can Strecth The Defense, Ted Ginn Finally Becomes A Playmaker Deep. We Need To Insert Patrick Turner Now He Is 6'5 He Will Be Able To Win One On One By Catching The Ball At The Highest Point. Mel Kiper Was Right We Would Have Totally Botch The Draft Except For The Corners. Pat White Will Not Be Able To Run The Ball Up The Middle Unless With The Wildcat. David Lee Should Have Been Working With Ronnie Brown During The Offseason.henne Now Would Now Find Our Tight Ends (boy Do We Need David Martin) Open. But Now With Henne If Those Safties Start Cheating Up Ted Ginn And Patrick Turner Will Be Open, I Also Read Dan Henning Got Fired In Caolina As Oc For Being To Conservative, I Dont Understand I Have Been A Dolphin Since I Was Two Ime Thirty Two And I Remember Dan Henning Getting Up On A Team Quick And In The Second Half Simply Pound The Rock The Rest Of The Game, Anybody Remember How Dangerous The Skill People Were? Defense Needs Wake On The Field And Our D Is Also To Conservative How Can The Qb Pass We He Is Flat On His *** We Need A F*******pass Rush, Nothing Run With A Two Gappin Defense But You Better Bring Some Exotic Blitzes. Fergueson Should Never Be On The Field In Pass Downs Are U Kidding With Starks/merling And Mcdaniel On Inside. Gibril And Bell Need To Be Up Blitzing Or Close To The Line Of Scrimage Hell Line Them Up On Tight End Nose And Bring Some Heat With Zone Behind It No Excuse People We Really Have A Good Team No Bs!!!!!!!!!!!
Q: It seems like the Trifecta badly misjudged two things this season: the talent level of our wide receiver corps and deep secondary. Everyone in the league knows that these are our Achilles' heels and game plan accordingly. It seems we're screwed for now. Is there ANYTHING that can be done at this late date to bolster these glaring weaknesses? Or should we just start celebrating a high draft pick in April? PJ, Naples.
A: Davone Bess has been solid, I would say, and Ginn did have that 11-catch breakout against the Colts, but coming back with a zero-catch afternoon despite being targeted with six of the Dolphins' 29 throws on the day wasn't very helpful. This was the first time in 32 games, including the playoff loss to Baltimore, that Ginn had been held without a catch. Oakland, in Week 4 of Ginn's rookie season, was the last team to blank him. As for the secondary, at least Gibril Wilson didn't have any more tackling follies today. He actually delivered one of the afternoon's biggest hits. As for quick fixes or jolts to the system, there is no Wildcat card to play this year. The insertion of Henne would have been one if it came under non-injury circumstances, but that dynamic changed Sunday.
