Free agent Plaxico Burress has reportedly told "people" that he would "love" to play for the Dolphins once his legal problems clear up.
The Fins aren't rumored to have interest, but the nearby Buccaneers are. Burress will be in court to face felony gun possession charges on June 15.

I'm the first person that thinks character is important but we need that #1 receiver with size that will take some pressure off of Ginn/Bess/Camarillo. Plaxico brings all of that and I would explore the possibilities if I was Parcels. I dont like Plaxico the person but I do like Plaxico the WR!
 
thatlll be awesome for my madden online with miami but as far as the team in reality not sure.

i found out typical and stupid of what he did (gun at a club then apparently shooting himself on accident b/c the gun went off on its own which is the worst lie ive heard in quite some time)
 
last season I was pretty convinced we were going in with just Mccown/Beck/Henne so I guess you never know...
 
Jury is still out (pun intended) on whether he will get jail time or not. Picked the wrong part of the world to exercise Second Amendment rights. After legal process NFL will throw in suspension, no? Might not see the field for anyone this year.

The rest of the AFC have #1 WRs, now we are in need. Our highly productive WR corps. can always use a big body that will make some space for them. Plaxico lined up on the outside will make the whole Offense better simply from his presence on the field. He doesnt fit the Wildcat (simply because Ginn is better at running the reverse) but is great for standard formations. Just ask the Cowboy fans how much they hate Plaxico because of what he did to them during games. Like I said: If I was Parcells, I'd explore the option. I'd sign him just to keep him away from the Jets. I think this FO can keep Plaxico in check but then again South Beach is a new level of evil.
 
Starks could hire Burress for security & Pacman for navigation. Call themselves the Three Stooges. yeah, Bill would be real happy.

Not a lie... just a novice at handling guns, especially a Glock. Dumb and dumbererererer... just b.c you have the money to buy whatever weapon you want doesn't mean that you can handle that weapon.

He's an idiot who is in an inner city gun culture that glamorizes weapons but is really low on weapon skills. Technology should be outlawed for some people.

It's not that hard for a gun novice to discharge a weapon accidentally, including a Glock.

I'm not a gun enthusiast. I can more than afford to purchase a gun if I wish. I've never had the desire to own or even fire a gun. I once owned and shot a BB gun though. That's the extent of my experience with any kind of gun.

But even I know better than to walk into a club with a gun strapped to a part of my body and the safety off.

POOR judgment. Plaxico, stay away.
 
i would take him with an incentive laden contract. If he performs and stays out of trouble then he gets paid... if any more funny business with guns then he forfeits his money.
 
Accidently shooting yourself with a gun isn't the worst crime in the world especially considering it happened in a anti-gun area of the country. In most cities and states Plaxico would never have been arrested for what he did. He's guilty of stupidity more than commiting a crime. I would give him a shot with the Phins if he can clear his legal hurdles.
 
i would like to have him he would teach ginn a lot and his isnt even a huge crime probably over half the people in the NFL carry guns half the United states probably carry's guns i would love to have him on this team he would make us so much better
