second and ten 13 min left in 4th 31-28 pats and with all the momentum we send Will Allen on a CB blitz and he has an easy sack that he misses on Cassel as the throws an incomplete pass. Then next play huge completion to gaffney and then the dagger TD to moss when he pushed off on goodman.

That missed sack with all the momentum cost us the game. And that is the difference between good teams and bad teams, a simple sack on a qb a team like the Pats or Jets always makes that play....... A team like the Dolphins will never make that play year in and year out.

And let me tell you.. Our Fins have no chance in Buffalo or the Meadowlands week 17. They lose to buffalo by 10 plus and to the Jets probably 31-13

Its a shame but these divisional big games Miami can never win. Same **** whenver it is a big game. The Fins have a chance for an interception and they drop it.. a chance for a huge gain and a holding call.. its always something that keeps this team out of the playoffs

Our blitz attack was very disappointing. This wasn't the only case where a blitzer got in but just didn't get the job done. I even saw our sack master Joey Porter get back then but then hesitate and be indecisive, allowing Cassell to roll out and make a play. We were just playing on our heels all day today and that goes on coaching as much as the players.

Really, we have no chance to beat Buffalo or the Jets? Com on, hasn't this season taught you guys anything? We may very well lose those two games but this team is much tougher mentally than any team we've had in a long long time.

I'm more worried about beating the Rams, Chiefs and 49ers than Buffalo and the Jets.

And yeah that play hurt but no more than a dozen other plays that could have affected the outcome but didn't.

I'm not so sure the missed sack by Allen would have made a difference. Cassel's completion to gaffney (if I'm not mistaken) was like a 20 yarder anyway. Point is, the defense couldnt stop the Pats offense at all all day.

I thought it was the 30 times MC completed a pass.

We gave up a big 3rd and 10 in the 3rd quarter, and Pennington's INT also came at the worst time. We had numerous times when we almost had Cassel sacked but came up just a little late. They beat us fair and square. I am already looking forward to a Ram's Roasting.
