Ya that's been the problem. It wasn't lack of talent . It's they are preoccupied with board games and contemplating their future games/ moves when they are on the field. Problem solved. Watch out NFL.

here come the mouse traps!

LOOK, stopping a dominoes game is a wanny move.

VERY WANNYISH actually!!

how about YOU taking some responsability and try PAT TURNER
at wr. what, he might drop the ball?

dominoes is FAR from the problem. sparano kept a bunch of dead wr's
and didnt even make a luke arm attempt at replacing any of them.

if he was serious we wouldnt be getting special teams excuses for
turner not playing. if ginn hadnt been so down right awful, brian
hartline probably wouldnt even be suiting up.

there is a WHOLE LOT of coaching and f/o moves [or lack of] to go
around in this wash of a season. and obviously by thier assault on the
dominoes games, they are not looking at themselves or there moves
in any way shape or form.

this scares me because paquolone should be long gone as soon as this
season ends. but i dont see bill firing his 40 yr friend. and that means
it wont matter who we draft or sign after this season.

the players know on both sides of the ball that we can NOT score any points
unless the 'cat is working on all cyclinders and that is pretty much over for
this year anyways. no points, no wins.

its not a lack of focusing on football, its knowing you cant do anything about
the most glaring problem. and they know it not going to change.

again, i see wanny in this.

ouch its not often that I agree with you but in this case yeah very misplaced rule here. How is this going to fix the drops and lack of team effort? You can't punish grown men by taking away a toy.

So that right there is a lack of focus, and also if what was bolded was true. We would need another locker cleanout. You can change it, but it has to be a team thing, not one person. Knowing it wont change? Sounds to me like they are being lazy and waiting for someone to do it for them. The Coaches need to be accountable, but so do the players. And dominos being ended in the locker room, is maybe what they need to regain focus on the bigger picture. If they have to hope for the WC to be successful, then they should all be out of the league. Line up and play football, not dominos.

What he's trying to do is show them that this is serious, it doesn't affect their play on the field at all, but what it does is after the game, if they lose it's alright, they can have a good time and play dominoes, taking the game away keeps the feeling of defeat fresh in their mind, any true competitor would be too pissed off after a loss to play dominoes and have a good time, Sparano knows this isn't the answer to making out team great, but this is a move to discipline the team, to show them we mean business, that Dolphins Football is not just fun and games

it would not suprise me regardless of who our head coach is to have a club like attitude in the locker room because it definately shows on the field well our wrs cant catch but they can play dominoes it seems like it was a long time ago when we would all gather here and diss the Wanny and Fiedler dual those almost seemed like good times when I see how bad we play at times even though I dont miss Jay's dad at least we had wrs that couold catch the ball.:pop:

Clearly you don't remember Derrius Thompson. The worst starting WR I've even seen in the NFL.
