Sparano and Co. are bound and determined to get beat by a bad team. I called the stupid draw with Ricky on 3rd and 2 and as soon as they got that turnover I said watch Miami play conservative and kick the fg. Sure enough. Stop playing scared and stop the stupid wild cat everytime we get inside the 40. This game has been one of the worst offensive play calling Ive seen. Is Wannstedt back?

Nope It's Henning. IT's just like the beginning of the year. Henning has done NOTHING but the Wildcat this year.

we're not playing to win, but to not lose...and thats why we are barely winning games...and maybe losing today to the rams

The great thing is, we are 7-5. Just think how much better we an do even at 7-5. We have holes to fill and coaches to replace!!! We are looking at being a 12-4 + team for many years to come!

This was another in a growing line of incompetantly called games. Can some one tell me why we only seem to have 3 different running plays??? Sweep (which hasn't worked in the NFL in 30 years), misdirection to the fullback, and wildcat. Henning seems to be running out of steam.

I'll take the win everyday but the play calling was troubling. WR screen to Bess should only be used once every 3 games or so, not 3 times in 1 half. No more misdirection fake tosses inside handoffs either please, or sweeps. Henning needs to develop an imagination or else a good D will eat the offense alive.

The wildcat has been masking his deficiencies all year.

Agree, we are playing not too loose way to conservative we need to open the offense a little be more. :(

The playcalling seems to be getting worse with each week.

The Dolphins had many plays where it was 3rd and 4, 5, or 6. Instead of going for a short pass to keep the chains moving, a play is called to air it out and go downfield.

I don't get it. On 3rd and 10+ the Dolphins call plays where they are several yards short of the first down. On 3rd and 4,5, or 6, the Dolphins call plays that go for over 10 yards.

And the stupid sweep. I hate it. It doesn't work in the NFL. It doesn't work in Madden. It doesn't work in the backyard. Why do they do it?

In addition to that, it's time to put away the Wildcat for a few weeks - bring it back when no one is expecting it.

But at least the Dolphins won. That's all that counts.

Actually, the playcalling has been like it was for the first two or three weeks. It's awful. Woeful. Henning has to go. I've completely lost my mind with this guy.

To say the coaches are holding us back is, in my opinion, ridiculous.

What does this team do consistently well? Nothing. We have no bread and butter. Most of our wins have come because of scores off of big plays, and we manage to hold on to the lead by the skin of our teeth (except in Houston where the formula failed).

A lot of those big plays have come out of innovative play calling, which is a credit to long nights of gameplanning. I think this staff goes into a game with a conservative game plan (try to avoid penalties, turnovers, control the clock and field position), knowing they are going to go "all in" when the opportunity presents itself. That approach has got us to 7-5. I'm not sure what record the cynics here think we should have, but I'm not sure this team even deserves the record it has now.
