Excuse my screename, a chance is no longer needed :) Pennington is playing lights out and Henne appears the heir apparent.
My post is exactly what is says, the players, under Sporano, need to keep their heads down and prepare and get out the on sunday....
However (despite what we may think) the players do not scour out message board and find solace in our compliments and hope, making them "shift down a gear" or "take a week off". Be patient, and be realistic Dolphans, but BE FANS!!!
This team has finally given us something to be proud of, and we need to take that, and build on it especially on sundays.. they will feed of of us (especially in the stadium). It's great to speculate, but on sunday, please don't go in with the 8-8 will be okay attitude, because they're not, and they don't want their fans to. If we don't make it so what... yes the eliminating loss will hurt whenever that comes if it does, but to root and support and feel the elation of the wins is what football is out about, and what good fans/teams are made of. Let the players ignore the kool-aid, but you fans, even if it is dangerous to invest your heart in this team again, it's about time to drink up!! (Not saying that we're not supportive, i just see that some are too hesitant and not salivating in the moment, You can like the moment but hold back your love for the team by preparing for and expecting them to fail.. Or you can do your critiqueing, and then come game day (perhaps saturday too) feel a growing pride that your aqua are finally back, and playing like they are going after something. I love all the conversations on here and really the overall sentiment of what I"m trying to say it
GO DOLPHINS!!!!!! THANK YOU FOR MAKING FOOTBALL FUN AGAIN!!! If you should lose (which I will not believe on any of the next 8-16 sundays) I will deal with the pain then. But we believe in you, like you believe in you. Go take care of business these next two weeks, and lets prep for the Wildcat, belicheat style, because everyone and their mother knows it's coming, he wants to make us look stupid, so lets turn the table and sweep them... (again off track but my point is all over the place, but it can be best summed up by......

(isn't it great to be in the mix again? lets figure out the future later, lets relish the fact that we really can, at least for a couple weeks, enjoy the moment and not look to next year for solace. Don't be afraid of the pain of losing, it may come, but it will be well worth it overall. I am so proud to be a phins fan.....
