Players It's Time For Miami To Give Up?

Which players on this roster, rather they're not a good fit, no longer effective or just plain suck should move move on from? I'm starting to think its time to cut ties with Jamar Tayor and Aikens. Those 2 just immediately come to mind.
 
I agree. Good choices. Earl Mitchell is another one for me. That guy gets blocked so easily, it seems, and Kenny Phillips can take his spot now.
I would say Jennings, too, unless he would be kept to replace Matthews if Rishard wants too much money.

and Jason Fox needs a new career, like, yesterday.

As far as the secondary, outside of Grimes and Jones (and maybe Michael Thomas), everyone is replaceable.
 
Greg Jennings - completely useless on this team. Please resign Matthews.

Earl Mitchell - just a meh player. Let Phillips take his spot.

Jamar Taylor, Walt Aikens are both on their rookie contracts so I'm keeping them for depth.

Jason Fox - yep, keeping him for depth.

Dallas Thomas - bye, bye

Restructure: Wake and Jordan Cameron

Jamar Taylor and Walt Aikens are not 'depth'. They help us lose. They are exceptionally easy targets for opposing offenses. I'd much rather give that Lippet kid a chance.
 
Well, they have starting experience so if they play ST and are still cheap, I'm ok w them in reserve roles unless guys like tony lippett can beat them out.

As for Koa Mississippi I'm ok w him. He can be part of the solution but he needs to stay on the field. Not every player has to be an all pro; Misi can be a solid player. I forgot about Sheperd. He can go.

Biggest problem we have is that we have backup talent in starting positions.
 
Dallas thomas jason fox kelvin sheppard...jamar taylor depends on the scheme in 2016...if its off man and zone he can go too...if its press i give him 2016...

Aikens has played awful but he will get another camp at least to see if he makes strides...college cb to nfl safeties rarely work out...and his tackling at safety is cb level...its a bad mix

You can find a 3rd suitable tackle on the street in veteran offseason free agency every year if need be...teams do it all the time...sign a guy for 1 year...its just if they play you may have to adjust your scheme somewhat to limit the exposure

Greg jennings stole money this year...found a sucker in tannebaum and got paid one last time...obvious cut...

Damien williams...do better than that this offseason with a 3rd rb

Team needs jordan phillips to make strides expected in year 2 and take the starting dt gig opposite suh in 2016...anchor strides more than anything else

I thought Jennings would have been a lot better. He's awful.
