DT Dorsett Davis Mario Fatafehi Josh Shaw DE Palepoi-Oline Anthony Clement next to Carey 2 huge mofos and C Jason Ball.Holliday and Zgonina are too light to clog up the middle.We couldnt stop Curtis Martin when it mattered the most. :shakeno:

I am up for Shaw! I liked him in camp. Is Jason Ball healthy?

We didn't? Were we watching the same game then? In the Jets final 3 drives Martin had 9 carries netted him a whole 11 yards.

And our "O" couldn't muster up enough good drives to score more than 7 points. Honestly anytime your "D" holds a team to under 20 points, your team is supposed to win. Don't blame the D for this loss, The "O" let us down, by not scoring, by not sustaining drives, and by keep the "D" on the field for a very, very long time on Sunday.
 
I don't really know what you see as the problem with our run defense. Curtis Martin ran for 72 yards on 31 carries for an average of 2.3 yards per carry. I think the defense did a very good job shutting him down and yes, I consider that a shut down on a running back the caliber of Martin.
 
our defense did a great job... considering that the jets o was getting great field position because our o couldn t move the ball....seemed like all game the jets had a short field to work with....
 
Really not sure bring in anybody would help immediately. There is a learning curve for the systems the d-line and o-line run. Maybe it's better to just stick with what we got since these guys have been around since training camp.

In the NFL things change from week to week. The Jets O-line obviously came in hungrier than our D-line. It does not mean that our D-line is weak. I gurantee you that Martin has some big games this season against several other teams in our division.
 
our problem is not the d-line,... our problem is the secondary, more specific reggie howard, they were picking on this guy the whole game.
