matt moore i think will benefit from playing in the wco, as well as the younger wrs. wallace (if he makes the roster), gates and the younger wrs we have. hell we know bess will be fine, and i think hartline will become a better wr in the wco. clay is going to grow leaps and bounds in the system imo. we dont need big time wrs for this offense. and in the draft the best fit (if we draft wrs, which we will) is wright out of baylor, and givens out of wake. i think even with moore as our starter we will be ok on o. we may not be 10-6 or anything but i think we will be better than what alot of people think.

totally right... greg jennings, donald driver, jordy nelson, jermichael finley and aaron rodgers throwing them rock had nothing to do with Philbins offense being tops in the league. they were all products of the WCO

:ponder: you need big time receivers and a QB no matter what offense you run them in

Wasn't Moore terribly in accurate on short and intermediate passes? Hate to say it but Garrard might be the best bet.

So are we talking Charizard or Raichu here?

If Garrard is healthy, I think we are gonna have one nice little QB battle on our hands.

Thank you for starting this thread. A breath of fresh air.

How dare you start a thread and try and have an actual discussion about football. Don't you know it's all Ireland, all of the time?

I get what you're saying but something should said about the fact that GB has built its teams receiving offense by drafting well in the rounds outside of the first round. None of GB's position players were 1st round picks. Donald Driver (7th Rder), Greg Jennings, Randall Cobb, and Jordy Nelson (2nd Rders), JerMichael Finley and James Jones (3rd Rders). I believe if we can get a solid QB in the 1st round, a WR or two and a TE with our 2nd and two 3rd round picks, then we have an opportunity to have a promising young offense. The GB receivers are now considered "big time" receivers but were not always viewed as such. Don't get me wrong, I have my doubt but the fact is that we can find "big time" receivers for this offense in the draft outside of the 1st round.

oh i totally agree with you. but this idea that they are a bunch of "plug in players" and we got rid of Brandon Marshall because "we dont need a number 1 receiver in the WCO" is flat out rubbish.
GB seems like a receiver by committee only because they are all supremely talented... not because they are all brian hartlines lol
