2007 Pro Bowlers:
Joey Porter, Jason Taylor, Zach Thomas, Ronnie Brown, Ted Ginn Jr.

Nice lists. Ted Ginn's not going to the pro bowl as a WR, maybe a return man, unless that's what you mean. And also take off Ronnie Brown because there are too many good RBs in the AFC and put Chambers on the list.

Last year it was a little sad to watch the phins, now I am excited. They may win 3 games or 12 games but they will be a joy to watch just because of the potential.

I feel that Ted Ginn will be a very exciting player. He's going to get us into decent field position most of the time with some exciting returns and he'll be able to stretch defenses with his speed. Something we haven't had since Mark Duper and Mark Clayton. Beck, I think, will be a great QB for us. I like his overall mechanics and footwork. The one question mark I have is how effective Lorenzo Booker will be. He has a tendency to have to sit out after hard contact, so he'll be the one to watch to see if he's going to have any impact.

Mauia the FB, looking foreward to seeing him the most!!!!!!!!!!!!

If Vonnie Holiday isn't a top ten player than our FO totally blew it by giving him all that dough.

Maybe you missed one huh?

I had Ginn going as a return man.... I like he makes Devin Hester look like Wes Welker...... Yeah Wes I said it, Screw You trader.

Compare the position from this year and last year and we look pretty solid.....

QB: Trent Green > Joey Harrington
RB: Ronnie Brown= Ronnie Brown
WR: Chris Chambers=Chris Chambers
WR: Marty Booker> Marty Booker
WR: Ted Ginn > Wes Welker
TE: David Martin < Randy McMichael
LT: Vernon Carey > Damien MacIntosh
LG: Samson Satale/ Chris Lewinski > Jeno James
C: Rex Hadnot=Rex Hadnot
RG: Chris Lewinski=LJ Shelton
RT: LJ Shelton< Vernon Carey
K: Jay Feeley > Olindo Mare
P: Brandon Fields < Donnie Jones
DE: Jason Taylor=Jason Taylor
DE: Matt Roth ) Kevin Carter
DT Keith Traylor= Keith Traylor
DT: Vonnie Holliday= Vonnie Holliday
LB: Zach Thomas= Zach Thomas
LB: Channing Crowder= CHanning Crowder
LB: Joey Porter> Donnie Spragan
CB: Will Allen= Will Allen
CB: travis Daniels > Andre Goodman
S: Renaldo Hill= Renaldo Hill
S: Yeremiah Bell = Yeremiah Bell

I'm hoping J. Allen can make the transition to corner which would be exciting because it would take care of another problem area. Joey Porter going to be exciting because he's like a pit bull dog when it comes to intensity. Channing Crowder should be fun to watch. He's had 3 seasons to get the Pro Game down not to mention he has had some good people to learn from. Ted Ginn Jr. i hope lights it up somewhere on the field and Ronnie Brown who has had a couple of seasons to learn as well should be a better player.

Top 10 Players to be Excited About.....

1) Jay Feely. After Mare's most disappointing season ever, Feely could mean the difference between going 8-8 or 10-6. (I'll get excited about Matt Roth if and when he finally makes an impact.)

2) Ted Ginn Jr. Absolutely!

3) Joey Porter. Our defense was already great. His addition makes it even better. That's sick. (Although the secondary is still a concern.)

4) Daunte Culpepper. He will finally be 100% healthy. If Cameron gives him the opportunity to compete for the starting job, I think he has the potential to lead the Fins to the playoffs this year. (I'll get excited about John Beck after I see him play. But Beck might not even see the field this season. Hard to get excited about a guy holding a clipboard.)

5) Reagan Mauia a.k.a. The Juggernaut. And Sledge, too. Our running attack will be much improved. I hope Mauia plays on special teams because I want to see him "knock some fools out!" (More curious than excited about Jason Allen. Will he play safety or corner? Did he learn anything last year? Will he be able to apply what he learned on the gridiron?)

6) Samson Satale provides a major upgrade to our o-line. And that's very exciting. He will start at LG or C.

7) I'm more excited that the overrated McMichael is gone than I am about David Martin. I don't think Martin is going play a major role in our offense. The only reason Cameron placed such an emphasis on the TE in SD is because he had Antonio Gates.

8) I hope Lorenzo Booker isn't Travis Minor Part 2. But I am getting hyped despite myself. Especially now that Ricky Williams is on shaky ground. There's no doubt that Booker will contribute this year.

9) Edmund Miles. Undrafted free agent. Could become a special teams standout. There's nothing like a huge hit on a kickoff to get the team fired up!

10) Mkristo Bruce and Abraham Wright could both become playmakers on situational downs. It's always exciting to see the opposing QB get sacked on 3rd and long. And I'm excited to see Rod Wright and Fred Evans in action, too.

Our 10 Best Players.....

1) Jason Taylor. Obvious.

2) Joey Porter. Porter could have more of an impact than Zach Thomas this year.

3) Zach Thomas. Getting older but still playing at a very high level.

4) Channing Crowder. Wow. Now that's a LB corps.

5) Ronnie Brown. Big things may be in store for Ronnie now that Cam Cameron is our coach.

6) Will Allen. Underrated because he's not a ball hawk. CB is a thankless position. You only notice Allen when he makes a mistake, which is not often. Will Allen is the reason we didn't draft a CB this year.

7) Chris Chambers. After last year, I'm hesitant to call him one of our best, but the addition of Ted Ginn just made Chris Chambers a whole lot better.

8) Keith Traylor and Paul Soliai. I'm hesitant to list a rookie as one of our best, which is why I'm not including Ted Ginn... yet. But after studying under Traylor for a year, I think Soliai will be the foundation of our d-line for many years to come. The oil that makes the whole machine run.

9) Daunte Culpepper. He said it best himself. When healthy, Culpepper is an elite QB in this league. Unfortunately, he might not be with the Fins when the season starts.

10) Jay Feely. If he kicks the game-winning field goal in any of our games this year, how can you not consider him one of our best players?

2007 Pro Bowlers.....
I don't like making Pro Bowl predictions before the bye week.

I'm hoping J. Allen can make the transition to corner which would be exciting because it would take care of another problem area.

Absolutely. Where and how Jason Allen plays this season is going to have a major impact on our defense. Either negatively or positively.

That is not true because Chambers will be going back to the slot where he had over 1000 yards in 2005 playing there.. Look for Chambers to have a much better year compared to last year because of Ginn commanding double teams on the outside.. Ginn's presence will open up Chambers bigtime ...

I too am excited about Ginn, but I hope we haven't wasted a number 9 pick overall on just a returner. I hope and believe that Ginn will turn into one of the most explosive receivers of recent years eventually.

Roth is the one player I would like to come on the most from last year. not because it is a need position, but because I just like the guy. I had the same feeling with Offerdahl and Zach, so hopefully Matt will live up to expectations.
