Playoff Race Link Here We Need Houston To Lose And We Have Last WC Spot

Lets Cheer For Houston This Week. And We Need Balti To Lose To Close In On Them. Interesting Games This Week
 
if we win this weekend, we're ahead of the patriots in our division... i don't know if it'll take us to the 6th seed because i don't know how the tie breakers will work out if indianapolis wins ... if buffalo wins and we win we're still ahead of them because we beat them... but if indianapolis wins i believe we're 7th because we lost to the texans and the colts have beat them but i'm really not sure about that last part...

The tiebreaker that comes after head-to-head is conference winning percentage. Indy is currently 4-2 in the division, Miami 4-3. So if both teams win this week, Indy remains ahead.

when deciding a tie breaker between 2 teams not in the same division, it goes by confrence record not division. but anyways indy is 4-2 in the confrence as of now and we r 4-3.
 
lolol, the season doesn't end on Sunday . . . we will make the playoffs if we keep winning.

Since we are on this magic carpet tho, I hope the Steelers lose and the Ravens lose . . . then we will be one game out of getting a BYE week. Who cares about the WC, I'm thinking bigger than that :)

Here's a real easy way to follow the playoff race for us as fans, and ESPECIALLY for the team:

play...to...win...each...game!! The goal is to win every game left in the schedule. Which is realistically possible if the team is focused, disciplined, and executes. There is no one on the schedule equivalent to last years Pats, Colts or Chargers. We win out, it won't matter what the playoff race is. 12-4 would probably get us a bye.

Easier said then done, but it's not impossible this season to believe it considering the leagues average play across the board (outside of Tennessee).
 
I just hope the season doesnt end on a technicality, like 2002,2003.

I'd rather be 8-8 and no playoffs than 10-6, tied with two teams and have them make it ove us because of some numbers crunching.

Instead of worrying about what other teams do, lets root for the team to win every single game and get to 12-4. If we do that, it will work itself out.

What about rooting for the Fins to win every week, but also rooting for other teams in the conference to lose just in case the Fins somehow don't go 12-4?

I have a hard time rooting against a team for that reason alone, this early in the season. I still like the Colts as well, so I am not ready to root against them yet. When it gets to Week 15 or so, then I will think about it.
 
all we need it for Indy to lose and us to win and we knock the rats out of that #6 seed and we get it...
