In my scenario, Indy, San Diego, Cincy, and Denver are pretty much locks for 4 out of the 6 playoff spots.
In a case where New England wins out, they get one of the remaining spots, and we can win 3 and lose either at Tennessee or against Houston, and still get the last playoff spot, but only as long as Baltimore loses to Pittsburgh. If Baltimore wins that game, Baltimore is in even if they lose a game against any other opponent on their schedule...
We cannot lose to Jax or Pitt (even if it is our only loss), our chances of playoffs become much harder. Of course, I have all the confidence that we can win out....just seeing what would happen if....
I ran through a logical senario: (This assumes we win our remaining games)
We don't make the playoffs until week16.
At week 17:
Indy and San Diego are seeds 1 & 2.
Senario 1
As a wildcard team and 6th seed we would play Cincinnati.
Senario 2
If NE loses one of the AFC games, we would win the Division and host 5th seeded Denver.
NE would then get the remaining Wildcard spot and play Cincinnati.
