What do you all want for the rest of the season.play offs or a top 8 draft pick?

For me i want a top eight draft pick.I want our QB needs solved for the next ten or more years instead of having one sloppy playoff year and not getting the guy we need at QB.Why goto the playoffs if were going to lose in the first round,no offence guys but comeon,we have had a turnover in like the last 10 games or so and we dont play well most of the time.We have one problem on our offense and thats a QB.Why make the playoffs and be out at the first round while we can get a good QB for many years.

The only way we can realistically make the playoffs is win out and hope the Jets can beat the Patriots TWICE....I don't see this happening......I think we will pick somewhere in the middle, which doesn't make it likely we are going to be able to get a franchise QB.

I'll choose Playoffs, how can you root agaisnt your team. I think the more intresting question would be: high pick or 8 wins and no playoffs.
Either way playoffs is not realistic at this point.

There are NEVER any guarantees regardless of where you are picking, especially when it comes to a QB. Im not sure how you can consider yourself a true fan if you root for your team to lose in any situation. And if it means winning enough to make the playoffs, im not sure why this question would even have to be asked.

If we lose against the Bills we should finish out the year with Sage or Cleo. This would almost ensure that we finish with a top 10 pick where we would have a chance at an impact player. Otherwise we'll only be in position to draft a good player with our first. Its better for us in 2006 if we lose more than we win the remainder of the year

we have no control...but i say we should shoot for the best...try to be good and still learn...my favorite team the celtics have made the playoffs three straight years and theyre rebuilding soo..i always enjoyed players who are not accustomed to the playoffs to see the playoffs..so they can strive for it every year

Just remember one thing: Many teams passed on the greatest QB ever (Dan Marino) in the 1983 draft......maybe a franchise QB will drop down to us. :)

Yeah i want to shoot for the playoffs, and take the pick we get knowing we tried as hard as we could to win. i actually think if we got a top 8 pick we'd try to trade down. because aside from Lienart, (who is most likely #1, which we won't be no matter what) I think we can get what we need AND want later on.

The playoffs are a bit of a dream, 0-3 in the division is tough to overcome. How bad does tha loss to the Jets hurt right now? If the Phins win that game their is a realistic possibility, but right now I don't think so.

this team is good just poor decisions and unfortuante occurences at the end of games ie(falcons, jets, bills)have made a couple losses happen

I rather have a top 13 pick than lose in the first round : /

Like others have said, I could never root against my Fins. Although the playoffs are a a longshot (win out and Pats lose 3, which is not very likely, but stranger things have happened).

I view the rest of the season more as building for the future. I understand where people are coming from when they say build for the future with the highest pick possible, but how can a true Fins fan root against the Fins???

The way I see it, the team is building for the future by competing every week, and further establishing the team's new philosophy under Saban. Not only does it give the players a better understanding of Saban's system and work ethic, it also gives the coaching staff time to see what the players are really made of. Who will quit, and who will always play their heart out!?! Who needs to stay, and who needs to go, as well as who is worth going after from around the league.

Roman made the point i wanyed to make.. we got dan at the bottom of the round ,others here have pointed out there are no guarentees in the draft anyways..i.e. Ryan leaf..lol... So much for that theroy. NEVER root for your team to LOSE.Just dont do it. Should be rule numero uno for a true fan.Believe in the TEAM not a future draft choice, you know it makes more sense.

I have to pick Playoffs. Top draft picks don't normally turn a team around, chemistry does. There is no such thing as a can't lose pick, but if your team start to get some chemistry together, you can become a good team very quickly.

Consider a team like the Cardinals and Lions, they pick very high (it seems) every year, and it looks like they will be doing so again, now you have a team like the Pats, did not pick high much, and got lucky with a 5th round pick to be their starter at QB, but still played good enough to win 3 superbowls in 4 years. I want my team to have a "no losing.... EVER" attitude.

History has shown that you can get Stars in any round, you just have to know where they are and when to pick them.
