Do you really care about Miami getting in after what you witnessed in buffalo? really? not to mention now they need help, uhggg im sick. part of me still wants it but they are not ready and dont deserve to be in. If they do get in they will get beat first round guaranteed. Im upset they lost but im more upset that Tannehill looked lost and while I understand you cant throw the football while planted on your ass I still think he played horrible.

Done venting yet? Lets correct you a bit. First, you don't "deserve" to be in or not be in playoffs over one game. You do that over a season. Second, we will play the bengals or colts if we get in. Don't think we can beat them?
I'm not going to get into that whole thing of if we deserve to be in or not. However I will offer a quick counter point to your we beat em once we can beat em again argument. We barely beat these teams the first time and they've already seen our game plan once. They know what's coming as it will absolutely not change. So how likely is it we get a win in a hostile environment, with a playoff atmosphere, doing the exact same things we did the last time???
And if we don't win, so what. We get our franchise QB more experience. We end a playoff free drought. We are more appealing to free agents.
However, I don't know if you've been paying attention but Indy and Cincy have been up and down all year. We can go in there and sneak a win. I don't care how close the last wins were, that's the NFL. That's how winning and losing usually goes.
Yes you can go on and sneak out a win, with a good coaching staff. That's something we definitely do not have. However, your absolutely correct that an extra high stakes game would be good for Tannehill and give us a greater appeal. It will assure Ireland and Sherman are retained though.
Don't have good coaching? Well respected NFL icons, such as Dungy, think Philbin should be in the coach of the year discussion. Or coaches have out coached 8 teams already this year during a myriad of distraction with a very young team. Put your complaining into context and I doubt you will be as critical.

Philbin may be a good guy and even a good leader but he isn't an X's and O's guy. He has chosen to surround himself with people who are even less so. We lived through vanilla ball with wannstadt. How'd that turn out? I can guarantee this will be no different. Super Bowls are won with game planning and adapting. We can't do either.

Give me the playoffs! We have waited 5 years already! Tomorrow is never guaranteed. I don't care if we get crushed in the playoffs, I just want to see another dolphins playoff game because who knows what could happen before we are this close again. I am sick of wait til next year!

After the Pats game we are glorious. After the Bills game we are the depths of suckitude. Do I want to be in the playoffs? What, and risk us playing well and knocking off a favorite or two? Of course I do!
I'd rather them get in the playoffs then not. I don't know why anyone would think otherwise.
How do you think the Ravens, Giants, and other teams that get in as wildcards in the past, and ended up winning a SB feel?
Step one is to get into the Playoffs, once in, it's a new season, and step two is to be the best team in your conference, and then step three, try to prove your the best team in the NFL....three steps, three new seasons, nobody cares how you got in, or how you looked, just DID YOU WIN, when you got the chance.
That's how I felt going into this game, but after I calmed down last night I realized this was one game, we all thought they would lose 1 of the last 4, they did and now they need to take care of business next week....Buffalo had our number and beat us man to man, if this team comes out next week and looks like this I will nuts but I think you will see one of the best games by the fins this season.....be disappointed but don't lose the faith, this teams not done yet.....
