On offense we average 52.8 plays per game, dead last (264 plays)...

On defense our opponents average 73.2 plays per game, dead last (366 plays)

So that means teams are averaging 20 more offensive snaps per game against us. That is not good...

Time of possession also dead last, with opponents averaging a little over more than 10 minutes per game than our offense.

When you're offense has run 102 less plays than your defense this far into the season it's hard to be mad at the D for giving up gaudy rushing numbers. It's almost hilarious how bad this OL has held the entire team back. Need Culiver to get on the roster and for Howard, Albert and Tunsil to get back pronto. Steen and Urbrick need reps too. Something's gotta give.

The defense is equally to blame as the offense for this. They cant get off the field and let teams move the chains at will. This whole team is a mess right nowm

True, the team needs some of those guys back I mentioned. I believe it would be best to see if Steen can go at guard if Tunsil is still ailing this weekend. Short arms or not, he tends to do his job to the best of his ability. Ajayi looked solid last week and needs more opportunities. Him and Drake with some decent OL play could really change this dynamic.

I mean take into consideration were 2nd to last in first downs against us rushing (40, 8.0/game) and last in first downs rushing (17, 3.4/game) and 3 of those are from tannehill....take into consideration blaine gabbert has 15 rushing first down, more than our team if you take away tannehills and im not even counting landrys runs...

Steen is a fine lineman but his game at guard doesn't gel with the pass protection vertical sets that the Fins are currently running. At center, whether it's vertical or dish sets, it's essentially the same b/c there is very little space b/w him and the DL for contact. Center is Steen's best fit.

I am fully aware people think I've checked into a looney bin (or should) with my current disdain for Gase, but I have yet to see anything from him that impresses me from a head coaching POV. I'm at a loss to list much, if any, positives.

Cutting Dallas Thomas - whooptie-do. A poll of fans & average Joes would have that obvious decision at around 99% (there's always a few, "Hi mom") who would have done the same and it woulnd't have taken 5 weeks into the regualr season to figure out.

Just when you look at stats of us against opponents or where we place in the league it is just bad all around...i know everyone wants a scapegoat and want to blame tannehill or gase but this goes way deeper than one or 2 people, this is a collective ****storm of everyone. While i do agree that thru 5 games it doesnt look good for gase but im not gonna overreact and call for his head yet but the way this team has played is concerning and the stats back up what weve seen

Has a team ever been so pathetic?
