There is no way this guy deserves top money. He is severly overrated. We should sign Bart Scott or Vilma, although I would be hesitent to sign Vilma cause of his injury history. Otherwise we should address the position through the draft. Even if we dont get Maualuga, Parcells is good enough to pick a guy who can fill in right away in rounds 3 or 4. Scott Mcillop or Jason Phillips maybe.

Do you know why Vilma was let go by the Jets?

Vilma wouldn't fit in the 3-4.

relax guys, maybe he hasn't been keeping up with the numerous threads in here about the whole Channing Crowder situation...

Crowder threads remind me of Beck threads, same ol stuff over and over and over.

Our constant bitching wont bring him back or send him away. We have all stated our opinions and there are two sides to the story. We have to wait in see we will probably know by next week. Hopefully whatever is best for the team will be done.

Sure. What's the point of keeping a 25 year old linebacker who has started for us the past 3 years. Gee, why would we possibly keep young talent on a rebuilding team. Hmm, this coaching staff would be idiotic to keep a 25 year old starter on the team! Lets go swap him for an older player, with practically the same ability! Or let a 22 year old rookie take his place! Sounds like a hell of an idea, i wish i would have thought of it myself!

Letting crowder go would be putting us back a step on defense.

Agreed, so what value do you put on keeping him $$$$.......... $arcasm is cool but do you have a viable solution to the problem of not wanting to pay what he is asking, and now (maybe the bigger problem) calling out Jeff and Bill publicly.
Interested to hear your input!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Crowder will test his value.

That is all we know for now.

What value do you put on his replacement. Scott is 4 years older, has about 30 less tackles and just as many FFs with no INTS. And he will cost alot more to.
