ok im out of the loop a little cuz i just spent the past 6 weeks in doing air force basic training...just a few thing i wanna know if you would be kind enough to explain.

1. why did we get rid of randy mcmichael and wes welker?

2. why much money did we give joey porter?

3. any relative info that i missed on the phins the past 6 weeks?

McMike was an overpaid underachiever and Mueller thought he could get
the same production out of (David Martin) a TE that we signed for 3 years 3 mill.

Welker was a restricted FA, the pats were goona pay him outrageous money and were goin to put a poison pill in his conract, about the amount of games he would be avaliable to play in Miami next year thus matching the offer would have done us no good, so instead we traded him to NE for a 2nd round pick whitch is the tender we had on him and a 7th.

Porter is the finall peice we were missing in our Phenominal defense to make our defense top 2 next year, his contract is mainly guranteed money, we have a pro bowler to rush Qb on the other side to JT.

Ricky sent in his papers about being reinstated into the nfl, comishoner Goodell with have his answere probably the week prior to the draft.

1. why did we get rid of randy mcmichael and wes welker? Randy went kind of fast. It came down to money. Randy wanted too much. Welker went because the offer was too good to pass up. Miami received a 2nd and 7th round pick for Welker.

2. why much money did we give joey porter? Porter got the money because the coaches think he is the key to unlocking an even stronger 3/4 defense.

3. any relative info that i missed on the phins the past 6 weeks? Mare was traded for a 6th round pick, and Ricky has applied for reinstatement.

no dude Randy was getting payed too much, his contract was stil good Mueller just thought he was over paid, thier were no negotiations about a new contract this offseason.
