Please God. Enough of the I told You So threads about Beck

As far as I'm concerned Beck is a dead issue for this team. This team has so much to be excited by going into the new season that Beck should have one or two threads at most. Instead it seems like one third of the threads are about the guy. Lets talk about our rookie DEs Merling and Langford or rookie QB Henne or vet Pennington. How good our Oline is starting to look, the coaches, the cheerleaders, the beer but please God no more Beck threads

I thought Beck was a bust when we drafted him. And I and a few other posters took alot of flak for it but its over lets move on. I can understand the desire to say I told you so (especially with some of the more vitriolic Beck posters) but this issue should be dead by now. Everyone knows who was right and wrong and lets move on. Yeah I was right on Beck but Ive been wrong on other players. I thought Donald Thomas would need at least a year before he was ready to contribute :lol:. Noone is perfect

So hopefully, evryone has gotten their last licks in on the Beck threads and we can move on to enjoying the rebirth of the Dolphins that Parcells has brought to Miami

You've had opinions on other things. Some haven't. For some, Beck is all they have...

I agree though. I’ve given up on any sort of discussion involving Beck on this site. It brings out the trolls. Some who aren’t trolls turn into trolls when the B word is typed. It’s too bad really. You can’t talk about his strengths or weaknesses, what he needs to work, what sort of future he has on this team, or in the NFL etc… Oh well, I will go elsewhere for those discussions.
 
So, you start another Beck thread that turns out to be a glorified "I told you" thread as well? Well done. :rolleyes2:

If I saw one more 4+ month old thread get ressurected, I was going to hurl.

going pretty good just got back from training at Ft Irwin, gotta love the desert. I personally hate being wrong about bad draft picks but oh well.
I have not been wrong that often unfortunately
 
After watching the game we have some good things to look forward to. Our defense is aggressive and the guys were flying around the field and were acting like they were in college again with their spirit and desire. It was a breath of fresh air to see that atmosphere at Dolphin Stadium!!!!

Thats exactly what I thought. Honestly, Im dissapointed. If I want to say I told you so.....I just will. I definately wont make a post suggesting no one should say I told you so that was right, then during that post point out how I was right etc etc.... I wont attempt to make it appear as if Im taking the high road, and give a holier than thou kinda spin on anyone who would just plainly say I told you so. Really dissapointed.

Im also glad to see there werent about 300 thanks from people who have been backing Beck. To be honest, I thought there would be.
