Let's not throw the season down the drain with doomsayer predictions after 1 game.

I thought it was good to have a commanding presence at QB for the 1st time since Marino.

I thought our front 7 played well but were eventually worn down by too much time on the field during those extended drives. We need to get the opponent's offense off the field sooner and keep ours on longer to keep these guys fresh.

Our 2 major weaknesses are unsurprisingly still the same as they were throughout the offseason and hopefully will show major improvement as we progress into the season. Specifically the O-line (especially run blocking) and the defensive secondary in pass defense (they are pretty good in run support.)

Still one has to wonder about the offensive game plan. Seems like we chose to throw over run majority of time and played their defensive game plan to a T for them. We did exactly what they wanted us to do by becoming 1 dimensional way too early.

Bottom line, I think talk of superbowl run now maybe premature but we are a much improved team who will only get better as we improve on our glaring weaknesses in game 1 and a playoff berth this year is still very much a possibility.

Our line didn't look that bad last night especially considering they were going up against the one of the best D-Lines in football.

Our seconday has the chance to improve dramatically when Travis Daniels returns and Will Allen gets familiar with things, not to mention Jason Allen.

We almost win to ths stealer in there home, as a matter of fact, we gave that game due to geting factor. New QB ,new secondary, but we look solid during 3 qtrs and most of the 4. It was just one loss and i still thinking SB. It was our first game and it was not an easy task to go play in Pitts with blind refs, non of then saw anything, but thats not the point. Now the schedule is in our favor, so it would gave us some time to get everything together.GO DOLPHINS!!:mad: :dolphins:
