its gone beyond ridiculous at this point. It must be financial(cap hit) because the guy has definitely had it. I was hoping we'd sign Edinger but I think Mare's cap hit is making Nick keep him this year. Can anyone confirm the number if we cut him?
 
He should be cut tomorrow.

14/22 62.5% and 2 misses from under 40 yards. That is so bad, Olindo, you used to be good, but you have got to go!

thats gotta be it, he hasnt been the same since signing that contract in 2000. i fully expect him to miss every attempt going forward and hope to be pleasantly surprised.

ps--he definately cost us the jests game and possibly GB and houston. we could be in the middle of the playoff picture

It's bad isn't it? I don't feel confident in us getting any points until we get inside the 20. He's getting so bad, he just has to go.
 
I'll bet that if he didn't lead the league in touchbacks, he would be gone

you cannot begin to underrate the touchbacks

we need to replace him in the off-season
 
Mare has been horible this year and Miami needs to draft Mason Cosby this year.
 
Yeah...Seriously he is bad. Borderline horrible. I would trade his booming kickoff leg for a kicker that can make a 40 yarder. I was watching the game with my girlfriend and when he came on the field I said..Oh no..She asked me what and I said it would be nice if he makes this but he likely wont. Its at the point now that we should all be scared when he comes on the field. I even get nervous sometimes when he kicks a PAT. He used to be automatic. He isnt even automatic from 30 anymore.

Get the point Olindo. Do your freakin job
 
He's been going downhill in recent years now, and this is one of his worst ever. He use to be a very reliable kicker, but I think it's time we found a new one this off-season. He's just not consistant enough anymore.....

How is Mason Crosby on kickoffs? What else can you tell us about him?

I think the kid from UCLA is pretty good too.
