Remeber the column Don Pierson ("Thank you, Dolphins") wrote that the Sun-Sentinel printed last week? The one mocking the Dolphins for Ogunleye, Wanndstedt, McNown, etc.? It would be rude of us to not respond in kind after this uplifting victory.

Be sure to send Mr. Pierson your good wishes at dpierson@tribune.com, as I just did. Nothing nasty, just a thanks from me to him for the many times Chicago has laid down when Miami faces them. Especially when Chicago is undefeated.

Great game, hopefully jumpstarting the rest of their season!

Yea.. so where was Ogun today? hmm sure looked like Jason taylor handled himself just fine without Ogun. :)

and Crowder seems to be playing better and better each game with plays on defense and racking up tackles left and right.

Nice post I am emailing him now....Polite, short and cutting.

Ogun for Booker and Crowder.....hmmmm. I'll take the latter.
Booker caught a TD pass and Crowder knocked the snot out of Grossman.
Ogun was still in his halloween disguise as the invisible man.

I dont know what that guy was talking about.
Crowder > Ogunleye, Booker is iceing on the cake. We clearly got the better of the deal. Not to mention Ogunleyes huge salary and signing bonus.

Here's what I sent:

"Loved your article: "Thank you Miami", just wanted to thank the Bears for laying down every time you're undefeated and play us. Oh, thought Ogunleye really played lights out, and Booker was such a bust for us today! Oh yeah, and Crowder didn't mean to knock Grossman over so hard I'm sure. Terrible trade for us huh?

We sure did enjoy that game!

Good luck to your Bears the rest of the season.

now that you mention ogun, I only remember him in the first quarter. a real nonfactor in the game. Anyway, HOW`SWEET IT IS!!!!!

Just sent my reply....thanked him for serving up his crow in the form of an article...wonder how newsprint tastes?

Subject: You are Welcome, from a Fins Fan.

Hope you enjoyed today’s game. I certainly did! Crowder and Booker definitely outplayed Wally. I would say the Fins got what they paid for today, and that you got what you deserve after that arrogant column. You jinxed the Bears.

While there was truth in what you wrote, it was certainly lacking class.

Sincerely,
Fin Fan

Miami Dolphins: 2-6, but can beat Chicago!

I just let him know that only 2 wins for the Bears have come against teams with a winning record and he shouldn't get so ****y until he knows his competition....toasted his teams' great record and told him they'd lose in the playoffs when they start to play some real teams :)

===========
Hey...great article the other day! Boy...you all are the best :) Oh...did I forget to mention that only 2 of your wins have come against teams with a winning percentage? We love Ogun down here in Miami....and we took a chance on that guy as a FA when no one else in the league would by the way. Here's to your great record for the year as you'll be knocked out of the playoffs when you start to play some real teams with winning records. Don't get so ****y and fooled by your record when you don't even know the record of the teams you've been playing all year.

Great game today :)

Just sent Don an e-mail....telling him it was 1985 all over again....but Grossman won't be taking them to the SB.
