Please stop with the Pat White expierement

Lets take those plays and give them to Henne, The Dolphins need to progress, the Wildcat is a mainstay and I love it. They are getting to mixed up with to many things now though and Henne is capable of leading the team if given the chance.

No more reverse plays, no more end around's. Henne go deep!

Does it matter? The spoken thought is the pistol is a play that makes the defense work on other things, surely it's not used because it is effective. Henne going deep 4 extra times a game even if those passes are incomplete would have the same effect plus would do more to establish Henne into the game.
 
Huh? Pat White is headed for 'greatness' according to some on these boards.

IMO, if I were advising Henne. I'd say work to get better, progress with each snap. And when it comes time for contract talks....don't sign w/ MIA. This CS really needs to let White sit and let Henne develop. Henne has enough pressure having to manage a game/lead a team. Having to come out for plays to watch White hand the ball off or over throw someone is getting abit old.
 
I kinda agree, I think pat is a long ways off from consistanley Contributing. I think Thigpin Would help the team in The WildCat and The Pistol Better.

Would you stop taking cracks at other posters in every single one of yours?

All I ever see is, " I am told by members here that so and so is great "

All you seem to do is come out of the cracks when somebody's OPINION isn't right, and you love taking the "I told you so" route. It's getting a bit old man.

With that said, yes, I am tired of White too. I think we just need to accept that he probably won't translate into the NFL. I'm ok with that. I'm not ok with forcing him into the game, and in turn ruining any momentum we have 9 times out of 10.

This is the coaching staff's fault for forcing him in. Just like Ginn.
 
Outside of that 1st wildcat TD drive I dont believe Ronnie ever ran the wildcat again. I just dont understand the reasoning behind our use of the wildcat/pistol.

Until Pat White can show himself as a passer, the Pistol is a one dimensional formation that probbaly wont have much success. Honestly I'd like to see Thigpen given a chance to run the Pistol.

Why not run a spread offense from time to time? Perhaps the hurry up? Why give so many wildcat plays to Ricky? The one reasonably consistent performer we've had is Henne and we seem to go out of the way to take him out of the game. I dont get it.
 
Pat White is a rookie getting what 3-5 snaps a game? Lighten up people! How about quit calling it an experiment and realize we have two offensive packages being developed here for the future. The conventional package and the Pat White just burned you for another TD package. Oh, and he can pass too. He didn't run the ball every play for 4 years at WVU. Everyone judges his passing on the 2 he's thrown so far? "Come on Man!"
 
Wasted Pick! The plays designed for him are garbage! The way he reacts to the play when it NEVER unfolds the way its designed is garbage! He has shown me less than Beck!
 
We need to stop out thinking ourselves when he's out there. Run the option repeatedly and make them stop it. The first play today with White we handed off and it busted open for a nice gain. Tampa Bay over played the outside and there was a nice gap in the middle. Immediately I thought, we'll never try that again. I love college teams like Georgia Tech because they'll run the same darn thing over and again, instead of assuming the opponent will stuff it.

When someone drops the Henne sucks line and then says in the same sentence White will show 'greatness' than yes I will speak up.

And if your tired of it, don't read it. I don't have to read your nonsense do I? So move on. And if its getting old man, too bad. When someone trashes Henne on a weekly basis and then uses the word 'greatness' for a backup niche player...I will bring it up ALL ****ING DAY. MOVE ON.

You seem to come out of the cracks to attack me because I point out the stupidity that is put on these boards. White= Greatness.... Henne= garbage.....
