Everyone has been b!tching about all or specialy positions (I agree the secondary) is horrendous, but look at the difference when we run the ball and when KC does. When we run, Ricky or Ronnie gets the ball, has maybe 1 step and has someone in their face and are forced to make a move. When KC runs, Priest/LJ gets through ther interior line and then has to make a decision. Huge difference. It all starts and ends in the trenches. We were dominated up front on both sides and that is the main reason we lost.

Yeap Our D line and O line got spanked all game long. except for some good running by Ronnie we would have lost way worse. And our D line made 1 good stop on 3rd and 1 but besides that they were trampled over excpeciallyon third down.

I agree, you can put the best players in the world behind an horrible O-line and you won't win a game. Imagine how dominant our running game will be when we have a high quality O-line to have R&R run behind.

Ive watched the game 3 times and came to the same conclusion. Ricky was constantly hit in the backfield......... very disappointing.

Great point. The only way to truly DOMINATE games when you're playing a good team is to have a dominant line on at least one side of the ball. Go get the video of Ronnie's run from last night and focus on Seth McKinney on the play -- you'll feel even more strongly about this.

Exactly. And I must point out the play of Pat. Did you see the way he came up against the run stopping Marty shy of the first down? That was impressive. You would never see that kind of play out of our secondary yet alone Sam Madison.

I agree that the defensive secondary is soft, but after reviewing this game I really think it was the play of Gus that hurt us. Ronnie was running strong. There were several key plays where Gus was off. Even in many of his completions, they were not on target...no rhythm. I know many are bashing him right now, and I agree with what Sage said about many fans, they don't know as much football as the players and coaches. I know I don't, but I have to say that the play of Frerotte really hurt us this game.

Definitely. I'm becoming a Sage homer real quick.

Yes it is. Im not the biggest Ricky fan anymore but I do feel for the guy. 6 carries for -1 yds looks horrible and most of this should be credited to the horrible run blocking. Ronnie getting 95 yds on 8 carries didnt help Ricky out much either. When it all comes down to it, players are judge by their production. Im amazed that Ronnie has been able to be as successful as he has been.

You could have Hall of Famers at every skill position but if you're Oline stinks the skills guys won't matter.

It ALL start with the Oline.

My wish is that the Dolphins draft OL with every draft pick next year. I also hope they sign some FA OL as well. Then throw them all into a steel cage match. The last 5 standing would be our starting Oline next year. We need some road graters.
