We have plenty of talent of offense to worry about a preseaon game, these guys just need time together, that is why it is important to get reps together

qb is average, we are not going to get a franchise guy this year anyway

8 fumbles no matter how you look at it is still disturbing. No amount of playing time together is gonna fix that. Who would have thought we could fumble 8 times and Ricky didnt have 1 of those fumbles.

no QB is out there that is going to make us a good team this year, franchise qb comes in the draft

not meant as a flame, but you said we have plenty of talent on offense, yet we lack talent at the most important position, QB...which is it, do we have plenty of talent and shouldn't worry or are we going to be lousy (again)?

Is there any question about that ??? Last nite told you all you need to know about how this year will be.....it's time to hide the firearms, razors & pills

Hey, the OL counts also and we are sorely lacking in talent there. My primary thought last night while watching the game was everyone was certain to focus on QB and the turnovers, while it's still the OL that acts as a regulator to this team. I just watched my tape of the game and that stands out again. There is no way we can expect to defeat teams that swamp us in that critical area, defensive front seven vs. our OL. Pittsburgh is just one example and there will be plenty more. You watch these guys individually and as a group and they lack top tier athletic ability, period. Not much Houck can do when the top defenses will overwhelm his guys in head-to-head athleticism.

As one poster so eloquently stated, not only qb but offensive line as well. I still think our line s**ks!!! I'm just hoping that Houck will somehow better this line by mid season. I don't expect miracles, but I do expect a gradual improvement throughout the year!!
