Plummer to Bucs, affect on Quinn dropping?

This is bad news for Quinn fans IMO. He would have been better off going to Houston.

It sucks because Houston was a possible destination for Plummer, I think the bucs were going after Calvin even if Quinn was still on the board

Exactly, Houston is the one who will get Quinn. Unless they pick someone up in FA.

Yeah i think most of us thought plummer to houston was a done deal. Now i wouldn't be surprised if they take quinn.

You know, I forgot about Houston :smackhead and how that would affect things.

Crap!!

Maybe they'll just start Sage and forget about Quinn altogether?

Seriously, hopefully they'll find some flaw in Quinn that will keep them away - making them trade for Trent Green or sign Brad Johnson instead or something. Uggh :fire:

Maybe Houston will realize they have no one to protect Quinn and take Levi Brown instead, then Stanton early 2nd.

Yea we needed him to go to Houston not Tampa. The Bucs could have picked up Bra Johnson or Jeff Garcia. BTW Rattay is a FA. We have to follow up on this news since I had read Plummer wanted to go to a team where he could start.....I also think the Vikings are trying hard to get Quinn as well. We might have to trade up.

If Levi had a better workout in the combine, I would be more hopeful.

As I've said about 1,000 times, I'm all for trading up for Quinn! I think the teams that don't take him will regret it for years to come, much the way many regretted not taking Marino. Maybe not to the same degree, but they'll will.

It's days like this that drive me crazy when I look at the calendar and - once again - notice we're about seven weeks from the draft. All of us post here as if the draft is tomorrow (self included). That's the offseason!

I think people are putting a little too much stock in that 40 time. He is still a very good player and had very good interviews from what I read. Teams reach in the 1st all the time. Last year we all laughed when Buffalo took Whitner top 10, now they have a stud secondary for years to come.

We need Garcia to go to the raiders and hope Jamarcus falls a bit. We might need to trade up to get one of the QBs still as cleveland could take one.
