Part of that was the line didn't do near as well as they have in pass pro. The first INT he threw was bad, the second he got his as he was releasing the ball and wasn't able to fully step into the throw. I personally didn't like the play call there, but if he's able to step into that throw it's probably a TD as Williams had his guy beat. The Jets didn't do much well, but they did confuse Miami's line with where pressure was coming from.
They are still out there lurking in FH waiting with bated breath, on their haunches, finger on the trigger, for any loss to claim complete and absolute disaster. Bobby McCain has a similar following and they must be infuriated to see him playing well.

This hybrid "D" has a lot of moving parts. It takes time, and they are learning as they go, and steadily improving.Byron Jones and the improving health of X are huge catalysts for the defense showing up.
When you can trust your DBs to man up, it changes the entire front 7. Even your man Baker is stepping up.
Fielding two top level man corner, gives that defense so much flexibility, both in coverages and in ability to bring pressure from any direction.
