hopefully caldwell keeps his job although im not fond of him as a coach but he doesnt deserve to be fired yet
 
Polian is not a bad GM. He is a scumbag, but you can't say he's bad at his job. He was successful before he got to Indy, and he was very successful there up until a few years ago. Keep in mind that Indy has been drafting at the bottom of the order for a decade now. Look at the Patriots, their defense is collapsing due to lack of talent because they just can't draft good players picking #30 every year.
 
He was successful because Peyton had to cover up his mess, the guy is one of the worst in the league.
 
He's an even bigger fraud than Bill Parcells

Counterpoint, name a GM who is successful without a good quarterback? Even Ozzie Newsome, a guy who I consider to be maybe the best personnel guy in the NFL, has had some losing seasons and only one Super Bowl to show for things because they just can't hit on an elite QB.

Don't get me wrong, I think Polian is a total scumbag and I couldn't be happier that he got fired, but you can't say he's a complete fraud.

He definitley got exposed this year for the fraud he is. You can't field a team as bad as Indy was without Manning and expect to not have some fingers pointed at you.
 
When you lose one player, even given that he is a very important one, and suddenly go from a SB contender to by far the worst team in football, thats a roster talent problem. Its Polian's job to have talent on the roster and he failed miserably.

Shaub AND Leinart went down for the Texans...they are still capable of winning games. Its not fair to expect the Colts to be a playoff team, but my God, you gotta be better than they are.
