Former Giants Super Bowl hero Mark Ingram's 28-day run from the law ended Friday with his arrest in a Michigan hotel room.

Ingram was nabbed without a struggle in Flint, Mich., a short distance from his home in Grand Blanc, said Timothy Hogan of the U.S. Marshals Service.

The star of the Giants' Super Bowl XXV victory disappeared on Dec. 5, when he was due to surrender at a federal prison in Kentucky.

If you are a Dolphins fan you would know who Mark Ingram is. Remember who caught the touchdown from the Dan Marino spike against the Jets? I think they should have allowed him to watch his son play before being sent to jail.

Ingram, 43, hoped to stay free to watch his freshman son play the last two games of the season with Alabama.
When a judge refused his last-ditch request for an extension on his surrender date, Ingram bolted

Did he Literally Run out of the courthouse during his trial!? And didn't get caught for nearly a month. This guy is one sneaky fellow. I don't like what he did with the drugs. But hiding from the cops like that for a month after running out of a courtroom takes some skill.

I have no clue but he was part of some memorable games.

In this case, and this case only, he is a former Buffalo Bill....hehe

The judge had extended his deadline to report to prison until December 6th so that Mark could watch his son play in the regular season. Instead of reporting when he was supposed to, Mark went on the lam. Methinks Mark will be serving the full eight years on his federal sentence, if not more.
