Right now our division has the best record in the AFC at 17-11
The next best is the South at 16-12

Who is better?
East: Pats(5-2), Bills(5-2), Jets(4-3), Fins(3-4)
or
South: Titans(7-0), Colts(3-4), Jags(3-4), Texans(3-4)

and if u think the East then do u think 3 teams will make the playoffs from the AFC east?

i do

Throw in the NFC East and South as well. I would say it's just too early to tell at this point.

Definitely not the best in football. I'd say the best in football would be NFC East, followed by NFC South, then it's close one for 3rd between the AFC East and AFC South, I'd go with the AFC South if I had to choose. It's really close in my opinion.

All 4 teams in the division have major flaws and none are among the best teams in football. That said, it is a very competitive division, and which ever team wants it the most will win.

Give me the NFC East.

Nah I'm not buying the AFC East as the best division in football. You can't build that case with a Brady-less Patriots team. However, the AFC East certainly has the players and front offices to become the best division in football (ie: Brett Favre, Tom Brady, Trent Edwards, Bill Parcells, Robert Kraft).

I think the best division right now at the moment is the NFC East but barely. The NFC South is closing fast as the Falcons continue to rebuild and improve. Next, I would put the AFC South.

I don't think three teams from the AFC East get into the playoffs. If you think three teams from the AFC East get into the playoffs then you're leaving out a team like the Colts, Ravens, and Jaguars who all have the talent and coaching to win each and every time they step on the field.

Going by teams and not records i'll say the South. They have the undefeated Titans and a lot of other competetive teams. I still think the Colts could beat anyone in our division. And everyone in our division can beat one another.

The AFC East is the best in the AFC but the NFC East is better in the NFL.

Great to even mention the East being a good division again. Hopefully it will last for years. I think that is the criteria for a good division., is three or four teams consistantly being good for a number of seasons. Thats why I would still grade the AFC South being better, but the East is catching up.

in the AFC east, two teams WILL make the play offs... as far as in the entire NFL, the best division IMHO is NFC east

So far I score it as such...

1. NFC East
2. NFC South
3. AFC East
4. AFC South
5. AFC North
6. NFC North
7. NFC West
8. AFC West

Best in the NFL is the NFC East, no question

In the AFC, U gotta give it to the AFC South . . . Houston has turned it around, and that division has some heavy hitters in the Colts, Jags and Titans. Truth be told, both wildcards could come out of here . . . which is why it is ESSENTIAL that we win our division, we don't wanna risk it . . . we got wins over the Pats and Bills . . . we can win that damn divison if we play like we are capable of.

MIAMI DOLPHINS For 2008 AFC EAST DIVISION CHAMPS!!!!!

boasting a 9-6 record!!!!!!!!!!!!

8. AFC West

No way I think the NFC south is stronger than the AFC south, in the end, the AFC south has the only undefeated team, 2 major playoff players and a scrappy Houston team that can beat anybody on any given Sunday. The NFC south still has an ATL team with a rookie QB playing well over there head . . . they have a 4-4 Saints team, a Tampa team that scored only 9 points against a average at best Cowboys defense with no secondary and a Carolina team that is playing well but they are a tricky team to figure out. We pretty much agree on the rest. Here is my rankings:

1. NFC East
2. AFC South
3. AFC East
4. NFC South
5. AFC North
6. NFC North
7. NFC West
8. AFC West
